aph_fluffathon: Fluff-or-Treating! This event is set for October and November, meaning that writings will center around the theme of Halloween, the supernatural, or anything else falling between those two months. Of course, this is the Fluffathon, so all works must be fluffy!

Hello~ I'm the Assistant Director of Events for MizuCon, an anime convention in South Florida.

I'm currently working on organizing a Model United Nations event at MizuCon 2011 using Hetalia cosplayers. Unless you see a

next to their name, the person list isn't locked in and thus that character might become available. Also, if you're reading this and have someone you'd like to recommend, direct them to this entry and have them comment. Make sure they let me know how they found out about this. :3

You must be able to do the following (

: preferred):

Attend MizuCon 2011 (Aug. 19-22; at least Saturday).

Have a costume of the character (country) you want to be. (NO casual outfits; it must be a canon costume or thrifted BASED on a canon costume.)

Speak a little of the language your country primarily speaks. (Things like "yes," "no," "hello," ect.)

Have a knowledge of the country's basic history and current events (for August of 2011).

Have the flag of your country (3×5 ft is best) and an accompanying flag pole (preferably one that stands).

Attend our Get-to-Know Meet August 13 (details below).

Summary: Alfred didn't really know what he wanted to do with his life. All he did know was that he wanted to do something heroic, to be a hero. Luckily for him, he was about to get that chance in the form of a small Japanese teenage boy.

Ah, yes, it's inevitable that some characters will get more attention than others, but what about the really small ones?

Tibet: Hasn't appeared since 'Doodles About Asia' and the story of teensy Japan. He got cut in the anime
Vietnam: AFAIK, we only have her original sketch. At first, I thought Himaruya scrapped that idea, but since we got another sketch of her back in Christmas, that makes it two.
Australia: Same with Vietnam, only replace Christmas with Tuna overfishing
Thailand: We got the first sketches of him, he's in the Doodles About Asia, and that's it.
Bulgaria: He also only have his first sketch and his really minor manga portion. But hey, at least he got animated!
Egypt: He hasn't got new strip since God knows when....
Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus: Who? He only appears in the trading card...
Belgium: See Bulgaria
The African nations other than Seychelles: They only get really minor parts in Gakuen Hetalia. It'd be nice if we can see more of them.

I know Himaruya has to maintain the number of characters too, but it won't be so bad since he likes to do cast herding...
