Problem is, is that I've never even bothered to look too much into the pairings. I only want to make a small drabble or something on this and since I'm not planning to write smut I need to find some sort of Historical Canon to write by. And with this pairing... well, you can see how it goes.

When I asked them what they thought about Hetalia,however, they seemed disgusted and completely turned off. They said that it wasn't a 'new' idea, that the nations should be more masculine, that its filled with rabid fan-girls/yaoi lovers, and full of historical inaccuracies. Now, I know that Hetalia has gotten a lot of flack recently, but what are some reasons you've heard people mention for not liking Hetalia?
