An 【APH】 video --- France/America to Dear Vienna by Owl City

A. Because why not.

I spent most of the hours of the day yesterday creating a France/America video to the song Dear Vienna by Owl City. (And have now learned first-hand that it is time consuming, though I never doubted it).

It still irks me here and there, but I tried to follow the lyrics, and the slightly melancholic story to said lyrics, so hopefully it'll entertain, despite the simplicity. It's not Olive Branch compliant, though, for the wary.

Also: I've left it on HD, since it looks prettier that way, but if your connection can't take it, you can go ahead and switch off of it.

Winter Meet up

Is there anything about the fandom/series you've seen grow and flourish? Anything that you used to be a bit iffy towards but a fanwork or something else in the anime/manga that's made you like it even a little bit more than you did?

The main thing for me is Himaruya's art style. Does anyone else get a kick out of seeing how he's improved? And how he keeps improving?

I remember not being too thrilled about the older strips; they were messy and sometimes the hands were block and sausages and the older chibis made me cringe (especially France's one)... The style was really different. But now the drawings are cuter, even when the characters aren't chibis. And the colouring's so shiny. And things are so neat and even when they're not they look awesome.

I get a kick out of seeing his style grow and morph. OTL And they give me hope that I can improve and be awesome if I keep chugging along

I got stuck listening to Christmas music today, and the 12 Days of Christmas came on. In an attempt to entertain myself, I tried to come up with a 12 Days of Hetalia!Christmas.

All I could really think of was "On the fifth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me five pints of beer!" (Naturally, I wanted some 5 meters reference, but couldn't get it to work with the rhythm orz)

So I'm wondering if we can have a fun fandom discussion on a full 12 Days of Hetalia one for each nation would be awesome, and maybe hetalia-ify some other well known carols.
