Need some help for a PrussiaxAustria fic...

So I decided to take part in a Secret santa on some Hetalia chatroom I'm in - and I got stuck with someone that happens to enjoy PrussiaxAustria. Problem is, is that I've never even bothered to look too much into the pairings. I only want to make a small drabble or something on this and since I'm not planning to write smut I need to find some sort of Historical Canon to write by. And with this pairing... well, you can see how it goes.

I've probably left it a bit late, but can anyone help me in terms of an idea to write with these two? I'm at a bit of a loss...

Any help will be appreciated. orz

If it's an idea you're looking for... The first thing that crossed my mind was the Second Schleswig War (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Schleswig_War). The two of them teaming up against Denmark in order to help Germany grow up.

As far as I know, Prussia and Austria are rivals, but they are inseparable because the love-hate relationship made their own histories. Just look at the book of European History. Almost every time Austria is mentioned, there's Prussia beside him. Below are some of their well-known wars that bring them closer :

- Silesian Wars (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silesian_Wars) which consists of War of Austrian Succession (1740-1748) and Seven Year War (1756-1763), when Prussia successfully seized Silesia - Austria's vital region.

- Second Schleswig War (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Schleswig_War) - to protect little Germany together (1864)

- Austro-Prussian War (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austro-Prussian_War) - Prussia sided with Italia-chan vs Austria (1866) to win the exclusive right of bringing little Germany up. After this, Prussia made peace with the Austrians rapidly, rather than continue the war in hopes of further gains. Prussia chose not to seek Austrian territory for itself, and this made it possible for Prussia and Austria to ally in the future...

- In WW1 (1914-1918), Austria sided with Germany-Prussia. After the war, Prussia became Weimar Republic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weimar_Republic) or Free State of Prussia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_State_of_Prussia). According to Treaty of Saint-Germain-en-Laye (1919), Austria's request for becoming one with Weimar Republic (Prussia) was rejected.
