[News] DVD Release Dates

Regular, Limited, and Animate Limited DVDs for the full fifth season have already opened up for preorders~

Volume 1 is set to be released on April 24th,
Volume 2 on June 26th,
Volume 3 on August 28th,
and Volume 4 on October 30th.

Cover art's still unknown, as is pretty much everything. They do however, appear to say there's only five episodes per disc.


They're the usual painful price, but if anyone's interested, you can grab them here~


Update!
Hetalia.com's just confirmed, here, they'll be the same as before.
Limited Editions come with a clear card, art booklet, and two-character Vocal CD,
while Animate Limited Editions add in a special talk, and art sleeve.

Art sleeves and clear cards will continue to be Himaruya art as opposed to anime art~
So I'm ready to be broke again.

In addition, there's mention of an "extra story" in Limited Editions.
:O Perhaps the season's really 24 episodes long?

Hetalia 5th season

First, hetalia.com has a new face and new section for the beautiful world

Second, animate has a list of axis-alies new designs:
Italy
Germany
Japan
America
England
France
Russia
China

Third, be careful with counterfeited products you found around the internet. I mean a lot of people claims some fanarts, fan-coloured Himaruya's arts, or even Himaruya's manga cover as Hetalia 5th season arts. THEY ARE NOT. If you have heard *weird* news/rumors about hetalia 5th season, feel free to ask whoever you want that have more idea and credible enough.

extra: anyone still remember about Hetalia original drama cd for those who bought birz October-December? I hope someone does

extra 2: if they have the same way broadcasting this season, I'll be able to get and upload the videos as I used to be(unless they change their protection). Anyone want to sub it?

Possible news on season five?

I just came across this on Tumblr, and I'm curious if it's official or just a rumor:

- Season 5’s premiere date is January 25, 2013
- All the voice actors of the Allies and Axis are already confirmed to return
- The next Birz comic will contain a new visual of the new season, in color and good quality!
- Volume 5 strips will be included in the new season
- New Hetalia goods will be advertised

Since I don't know Japanese (and we all know how accurate Google Translate is), I can't confirm if this info is true. Help?

I'm hoping it's true, especially the bit about when the next season is set to air. It would really surprise me if they changed the VAs, but it would be nice to have confirmation that they're keeping the same actors.

It looks like the Fantasia Episode I mentioned over here is already available!

\o/ So~ Let the hunt begin for a ripped copy~
... Though with over a month delay so far in anyone ripping the Akuyuu song of all things, I'm honestly not that hopeful.

News: Hetalia Fantasia DVD

It looks like it's a "point" item, so I don't think it'll be available for regular purchase, but, you can see the information at both Hetalia.com and Animate's point item page.


As far as content, it's a single 4-minute episode based on the first Fantasia CD, featuring the World 8 and Hong Kong.

The release date is simply "September", so hopefully it's coming out soon~
It's a World Series extra episode, though, so this doesn't say anything about Beautiful World yet. Let's not jump to any conclusions about that season.

Season Five Title?

Source here, it looks like the new series' name will be...
"Hetalia The Beautiful World"!

It's also scheduled for 2013. Which. Was kind of obvious already.

I suck at Japanese though, so if anybody who's better at this stuff wants to check out the page and confirm this, that'd be awesome!

Digital Single previews~

Kind of odd to release them after the CD's out. But.

/o/ Just checked in on the Hetalia site and found a link to this page~

We're a little bit cheated with the Baltics one only showing a spoken part, but otherwise both are pretty nice~

There's a similar page for Marukaite Best, as well, but, those songs aren't really new.

Hetalia Digital Single Best The Best Plus α Tracknames Announced!

So. I've never posted before! I hope no one has posted about this yet.. I tried to check... But anyways.... I found out about the TBA title songs with Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia with Russia and France, Spain, and Prussia. (Finally the Bad Touch Trio has a song! Happyfaceeeeeee!)

The site is in Japanese but, I'll do my best to romanize and translate the titles. Please, correct me if there are errors. I'm not too fluent in Japanese 
I''l translate by using a dictionary, translator, and similar examples to compare answers and decide on one I think works... Let's hope it does work.

Baltics with Russia: 「平和っていいな...」
Romaji: Heiwa tte iina...
English: Peace is Good...
Better Eng. translation rom rayquaza384: Peace Would be Nice... or Peace Sounds Good

Bad Touch Trio: 「ほとばしれ情熱」
Romaji: Hotobashire Jounetsu 
English: Overflowing Passion (I think that's a perfect title for them.... Haha.)

[News] Special Price DVD Box Sets

Double posting, but, seriously different topics, so I hope it's okay?

Animate has just announced four new items! "Special Price DVD Box" sets of the anime.

All are currently preorders, retailing at 8190 yen (about $110) each.
No box art has been released as of yet, but it looks like there's some mention of the earlier Animate-exclusive art sleeves?

In any case~
They'll be released one month at a time, on the following dates:
Axis Powers 1 (Ep 1-26) - September 26
Axis Powers 2 (Ep 27-52) - October 24
World Series 1 (Ep 1-24) - November 28
World Series 2 (Ep 25-48) - December 26


Currently, bonus content is mentioned on each page.
Bonus items, are, for the moment, non-existant.
It's currently unknown whether vocal CDs, art booklets, or clear cards will be re-released at all.
