You are invited to the “Eastern Europe & Co.” Summer Fic/Art Exchange!

A community over at dreamwidth is set up for a Secret Santa exchange focused on the “Eastern Europe*” group from the series Axis Powers Hetalia. As such, fanworks with Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Prussia, Hungary, Romania, Finland and Bulgaria as far as they are part of the group are the focus of the exchange.

If you’re interested in participating, check out the rules and sign ups post: HERE. (you do not need to have a DW account to sign up and participate!)

Here’s how it works: After you sign up, you’ll be assigned another participant to write a story/draw art for, following the prompts they’ve submitted. On September 1st through September 24th, you can start posting up what gift you are giving your Secret Santa, and someone in turn will post up a gift for you!

Summer 2012 Timeline
July 30: Sign-ups begin.
August 13th: Sign-ups end.
August 14th-20th: Assignments go out.
August 31st: Check-In Deadline
September 1st: First day to post up your fills!

*”Eastern Europe” as it is used in fandom to describe the group that commonly includes all Slavic and “Baltic” nations and sometimes more; as such it is broader than the actual definition, including also Southeastern and Middle European nations.

easterneurofunk is a prompt-based fanwork challenge centred around the Eastern Europe characters. During the month of June, those who joined up worked hard to produce fanworks focused on a wide variety of themes and exploring all kinds of different relationships between the Eastern Europe nations.

The official site has been updated with the title for Grandpa Rome's character song.

The title is...
"Roma Antiqua" (Latin for Ancient Rome).

On the site, the song is described as "magnificent" and "cool".

It will be released on June 15th and will be the final character song in this series.

Eastern Eurofunk: An Eastern Europe Fanwork Fest

Eastern Eurofunk is a simple and flexible prompt-based fest focused on exploring the things we love about the Eastern Europe nations in Hetalia. Fanworks centred around the themes of family, friendship, rivalry, history, gen situations and romance are all encouraged!

Sign ups are open from May 18th to May 27th. Assignments go out by May 31st, and you'll have the whole month of June to produce fanwork. We'd love you to join us!

Author's Notes: Hey you people who... haven't seen me in months. Sorry. I've barely been writing, a lot of what I have written is going very slowly, and there was some stuff awhile ago that kind of scared me away from LJ. Anyway, have an update. You know the drill: Written for

hetalia_kink, the prompt: Sweden has an affair with someone and Finland comes home one day and catches them in the act. Then followed by a annnnngsty argument of some sort regarding said affair. I want to see some tears and shouting matches or whatever for our "happy couple". The person whom Sweden has an affair with can be anyone, but I'd particularly like Norway or Latvia. I have no idea why. The title comes from the Anne Sexton poem by the same name.

Sea's in a hotel somewhere or other; he's not gonna come in to complete that perfect America's-sitcom scene, and Sweden has no right to imagine that after what he did–
