Hi!  This is my first time posting, so I apologize if I'm doing anything incorrectly.

I was just wondering if there are any New Yorkers getting together for this weekend to cosplay as Hetalia characters.  I don't really have any Hetalia friends who live by me (I'm on Long Island) and I wanted to see if anyone had anything planned since I think I'm free this year.  If there's anything going on I'd love to join and if there isn't, perhaps we could plan something?

Here is your warning - this post is about mpreg! Specifically, America and his states.

Recently, the idea of America being quite literally the mother to his states seems to have become more and more popular. Personally, I love the image of America with a whole bunch of little states running about his feet. Even if he is a teenage mom. Therefore, for fun, I created some tables to list the various states' birth years, as well as who the most likely candidates for fatherhood are*. Obviously, no one need to feel bound by these tables, or pressed to agree. But I hope people can enjoy them, and that maybe some will even find them useful!

Because livejournal didn't appreciate the formatting of the charts I made, a friend of mine is graciously hosting it on her website. So, here you go:

...in retrospect, it occurs to me I could have gone with the date of settlement for birth, and entry into union as 'coming of age', which fits more with how the nation-tans in Hetalia age. Ah well, maybe next time. It lined up nicer this way, and makes it so America could have given birth to all of them. But people are welcome to any theory about the states and how they popped into existence that they like.
