Hello~ I'm popping in to see if anyone is interested in purchasing a copy of me and my sis's UK/Japan doujinshi.

We sold out of copies halfway through Anime North this year, and although I wasn't planning on doing reprints, my sister set up an online pre-order list without telling me, and there's a bit too many people on the list to back out now. =_=;;

So since we have to print in bulk, we're trying to collect enough people to do a reprint. The doujinshi are pretty heavy, so if we don't manage to sell off 3/4s of it, I don't think we're going to do a reprint. However we have most of the books pre-ordered already, and we only need a few more interested people.

Has anyone scanned/scanlated the special booklet that came with deluxe edition of volume 2 manga?

Since this is very old news and this is such a big community, I find it hard to believe that no one has shared it yet, but the one place where you would think to find it (Hetalia Indexes) doesn't have it, so maybe... (I apologize if this has been asked a lot before!)
[Edit] Apparently it has been!

For people who don't know: Volume 2 of the manga came in 2 editions, and the special edition came with a small 30-pg booklet containing character sketches and preliminary designs of manga comics.

And finally...the reason I'm posting this is because I picked up a copy of volumes 1, 2, & booklet at Nini's house. In Chinese. I don't even know if it has officially been published in Chinese yet, and I HIGHLY suspect this is as real as Shinatty-chan because it was so cheap and some panels look almost squished (I couldn't tell beforehand because it was all shrink-wrapped. Oh Nini, your bad habits...), but... it's still amusing to see all the DIFFERENCES when comparing it with the English translation here of the Japanese one. For example, in vol.2 it says China's bday is "Oct.1" while it is "Unknown" in the English, and Taiwan's bday is "unknown" while it is "Oct.25" in the English. Also, under Taiwan's profile intro they added an additional sentence "A part of China" (FFFF....She'll be mad~).
Also, there's a colored comic on the back cover of vol.1 involving that one scene from the anime with angry Germany & Italy squeezing the cat's paw. Sounds familiar? Has this been shared?

If this hasn't been shared before, I can scan it in and maybe even translate it, since there are too many goodies to pass up like young child designs of Austria, Spain, France-in-a-bonnet, and Hungary~ And so...sorry for long boring text post!

The water horse, known otherwise as kelpie, nuggle, or glashtin, is known in various forms throughout the British Isles and Scandinavia. Although this shaggy pony's friendly demeanor encourages a person to hop right on board, doing so is a very bad idea. A particularly good-tempered specimen will merely take you on the most terrifying ride of your life, while the majority will carry their unwitting passenger into the closest body of water, in order to drown and then consume them.

The water horse can most easily be identified by the strands of pond weed stuck through its mane and tail, as well as the fact that it is perpetually dripping wet.

Sorry pony, England knows better than to trust you :P

So Hetalia's got an impressive amount of fanfiction writers, am I right? Are you one of those authors/authoresses who need a boost or theme to start writing? A bit of competition involved to spark some excitement? Then here we go:

hetalia_contest
A quick summary of this community's purpose is that there will be a prompt every week, and participants write their stuff in a span of five days. Once the weekend rolls around, both readers and writers get to vote for their favorite stories. Winners are announced, cue the cycle again.

First prompt will be introduced on the 22nd of June to keep to the written schedule. Thank you, and let's pump some energy into this community, shall we?

On a minor note, there's currently no prizes set for the winners. While some writers are simply content enough to know that readers enjoy their work, others would surely like an incentive to actually start. So would anyone be interested in being a prize-person by making icons, writing fanfictions, drawing fanart, or whatever to offer as a prize to first place winners?

And while this community is currently exclusive to fanfictions, it just might branch off into other categories like fanart over time. We'll see!

So, this is my first post so I guess you can call this a de-lurking post.
Well I've been wanting to cosplay someone other than America for a while so I looked around and noticed there was no Australia. Luckly Himaruya drew a sketch of him with no color. So I thought I might as well take what I have and be Australia. It's one cosplay I don't have to worry about my eyebrows or my hair :D So its just a closet cosplay.

So enough of my rambling here is the result.

While flipping through the kink meme, I stumbled over an image of France and America in lip-lock. I'm lusting over it, and I would LOVE to use it for the France/America community, a_moveablefeast. However, since the kink meme is anonymous, I have no idea who drew it!

It was linked to a short fill about France giving America the Statue of Liberty.
