Okay guys, this is weird. According to my Google Reader there's a new post up on Himaruya's blog... but there isn't a new post. My guess is he posted something and then took it down for some reason.

The content of the post is still viewable on my Google Reader though so I thought I'd post it (and who knows maybe he'll post it up again.) /shrugs

Summary: Not sure how to summarize this one. Here goes: Arthur doesn't know where he belongs in life. Whether he's supposed to be alive or dead, he'll have to decide for himself. And as a fairly new transfer student, and someone that really has no clue what he's doing, the decisions he makes are going to be harder than ever. Okay, so that summary is a fail. Just know that this story is depressing and confusing and self-discovery, and angst, and the list goes on.

Oh yeah, this is a high-school AU. Sorry. And it's a messed up high school AU, 'cause I really don't know how a high school functions.

Welcome to Clairemount Academy located in the countryside of The United Kingdom. The Clairemount Academy is known as one of the top secondary schools in the world and only the most elite of students, those that come from old money families and those bright enough to earn scholarships, have been known to attend. Despite the difficulty that is undertaken simply to attend the school this facility is known to have among the widest and most culturally enriched range of students from around the world. If ever there was a desired place that looked to the true well-being of students Clairemount Academy is the closest anyone shall ever come.

But, as the wisest of human beings have found, nothing is truly so perfect as this. Clairemount Academy has another face, one not necessarily evil but certainly not something one would expect to find. Students not only attend Clairemount for its academic prestige but under another pretense as well: the conflict of classes. That’s right, the master and the servant and at Clairemount Academy this is exactly the bond that the founders hoped to reestablish with the creation of their academy. If you thought high school cliques were bad you have never seen the true workings behind the doors of Clairemount Academy. On the surface the students do not seem to differ from one another but look a little closer and you shall find something unusual that you can’t quite place your finger on. Some students seem to work harder than the others but beyond just that are the interactions between particular pairs of students and even among the staff.

Ah, but enough about that. After all, this academy shall welcome you with welcome arms if you bring...suitable qualities to Clairemount. Just be careful of the paths you cross and the people you allow close to you. Arranging for almost unhealthy bonds between their residents isn’t the only secret Clairemount Academy has up its sleeve.

Platonic Pairings!

So this was something I was wondering about. We all have our OTPs, and our romantic pairings that we ship. But what about platonic pairings? What characters do you like seeing just being friends? For example, for me, I just LOVE fics about America and Canada being bros. (Hence my icon.) Other groups I'm fond of:

-Japan and America being dorks together
-America and Canada BROING OUT
-The BTT, of course, being friends
-(headcanon time) Germany and Spain being buddies because they're with the Italies respectively
-Hungary and N. Italy going on dates to the bar (more headcanon time!)

I'm sure there are others but I can't think of them atm, those are just the ones on the top of my head. And the ones I love seeing the most. What are your guys's favorite platonic pairings?
