So, at ANext this year, once we were done running around in our Axis Powers cosplay, my boy creature and I had about an hour to kill before the masquerade. My friend umiyuko had her suiper awesome camera on her, and I had never gotten any pictures in England before, so we did a mini England and America photoshoot! Also in here is jamminbison as Russia and rammyz as Prussia.

For the record, my America made his uniform from scratch. I am planning on making my uniform from scratch before Anime USA, but right now, it is all thriftstore, so there is some color match fail between the pants and jacket going on. orz! I also kinda fail at looking manly, but I think being next to America isn't doing much for my cause...

Selling a ton of Doujinshi

I've got less than two weeks here in Japan and I've got more doujinshi than I could ever hope to bring back with me. That means it's selling time. I've added some new doujinshi and marked the prices down a little. I also have like three non-doujinshi goods that I bought at the movie theater to celebrate the premier of the Hetalia movie. I can't bring this stuff home with me so this is the last call before I return it all to the doujinshi stores in Japan. Orders must be placed before July 15th, 2010. Help a poor college student? So here's the plan, I want to collect 50 fanarts of England and China kissing/about to kiss/in a situation worthy of a kiss, in short the theme is teh kiss. Boing Boing usually covers stuff like copyright and internet culture, so APH isn't too much of a stretch for them. However, this is the first time I've seen Hetalia discussed in a Western outlet not explicitly anime/manga devoted.

Please do keep in mind that this is an AU for Hetalia, and these characters are NOT the nation-tan versions. We only go by human names while in character, and each character is just a teenager (or teacher) that happened to be born in the country they represent. They have their own families, histories, and personalities. Don't feel restricted by canon, but on the same note do not completely disregard it. Ludwig is not a tutu-wearing tap-dancer, after all.

There are a ton of canon characters available, as well as gender benders and maybe an OC you want to create.

If you ever just want someone to talk to, there's also a chat box at the bottom of the page for you to use if you sign up, since there's quite often someone there that will respond~

The story is simple and fun too, and something we haven't really started on just yet: A prank war separating the school. Meaning, it's really you guys who decide how the events play out.
