ANIME CENTRAL HETALIA EVENTS!

Hello everyone! I'm just posting to let everyone know about the Hetalia events that will be occurring at ANIME CENTRAL in less than two weeks! Acen will be May 14-16 in Rosemont, Illinois.

Firstly, the HETALIA FAN PANEL.

I will be running it with abarero and viola_player, just like last year. This will be the third time we've run a Hetalia panel at a convention (last year's Acen being our first), and we hope to see a huge turnout this year!

Last year Acen did not give us a large enough room (apparently due to the hotel giving them false information). As consequence, we overflowed drastically and had to turn people away. We do not think that will be a problem this year. We've asked for a very large room, and it looks like they've been working very hard this year to get the panel situation better sorted out. As such, if you missed your chance last year, do come back this year! And of course, if you're coming for the first time or were at the panel last year, we'd LOVE to see you!

FAN PANEL:
Date: Saturday, May 15th
Time: 2-4 p.m.
Location: Panel Programming Five (Embassy Room One), at the Embassy Suites.

If anything is changed, we will let you know immediately upon finding out!

The panel is running two hours. We'd originally asked for an hour and a half, because we felt a bit pressed for time last year. However, Acen scheduled us for two hours for some reason. Because of this, we're going to be using a little bit of that extra time to do a couple rounds of a Hetalia themed game show with the audience. There will be prizes. :D

Additionally, there are going to be TWO Hetalia photoshoots. Here's the information on them:

Time: 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Location: East Outdoor Wall

Date: Saturday, May 15th
Time: 11:30-12:30 p.m.
Location: Loading Docks Right

The three of us panelists will either be wearing Police!America, Police!England, and Lithuania, or Denmark, Norway, and Canada. We haven't decided which day we're doing what yet.

So I'm kinda curious at how many Virginia Hetalian's out there would be interested in going to Busch Gardens for a Hetalia meet. This is my first time planning an event, so forgive me on not knowing the ropes.

I'm not sure on the date yet, but it would be in June, After Anime Mid-Atlantic. Because I'm a college student and I would like to go to the event I plan OTL

Again this is just to find out who all would be interested in going for right now. Once I become more certain that people would be willing to go, and I find out when summer is for me again. *hates that she only gets three weeks for summer break* I'll come back with more details on ticket prices and the like. :)

Hello~  This is just a reminder that there will be a cosplay meet at King's Dominion this Saturday. 

This meet is being organized by the Hampton Anime Club http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=333220184524 and involves cosplayers in general, but I will be attending in Hetalia cosplay and I was wondering if anyone else was planning to do the same. 

If so, I'm planning on getting to the park as early as possible and leaving as late as possible.  If no other Hetalia cosplayers plan on attending, I might just go in normal clothes.  But I think it would be fun to have a photoshoot there and just to mingle with other Hetalia fans~

Steampunk England Cosplay?

Yesterday was Yardsale Day in my neighborhood and I got a few things that inspired me a bit. Namely, a green suit and leather gloves, which made me immediately buy them on the basis of great potential for and England cosplay.
However, earlier, I bought a really cool steampunk-looking clock, and as I carried all my spoils in together, I started to wonder if I could make a steampunk outfit out of England's standard uniform.

Hello everyone, I'm a Liet roleplayer looking for a one-on-one rp partner, preferably over MSN.

I'm looking for long-term-ish partnership because I really like to get to know the person I'm roleplaying with. I like us to be friends, y'know?  Otherwise, it's uncomfortable for me. >>; (I like to be able to do both roleplay and casual chat with my partner.) I do most all formats, but I'm just now getting back into roleplaying in general, so there's some I'm better at than others.

Anyways, I ship Lithuania/Belarus (or Belarus/Lithuania) like crazy. So the ideal would be a Belarus roleplayer who ships it enough to want to roleplay it regularly. I am willing to genderbend too, so we could do fem!Liet/Bela, Male!BelaLiet, or Male!Bela/Fem!Liet (in any order, hehe.)

As for boundaries, I'm fine with most things, though I haven't seriously roleplayed very much of most things that would even need boundaries. (Yuri, yaoi, smut) I am willing to try all of them, but I'd greatly prefer it if you asked me beforehand and allowed us to talk a bit about it, lest we both get uncomfortable.

I enjoy fluff mainly, and with LitBel, I absolutely the love the non-con, ooc type stuff. (Such as Belarus liking Liet back without being all in denial about it! ;D) But of course, following the canon story is never bad for me. And historical based roleplays are alright with me too.

So please, comment here or send me a pm or something if you're interested. And also: I do not ship LitPol or RussLiet in the least. I will roleplay LitPol friendship, and RussLiet interaction, but nothing romantic or smutty please.

So this Saturday, at the Brooklyn Sakura Matsuri, I made my Hetalia cosplay debut! I had been working on the costume for the last month or two, and despite work issues, sewing machine breakdowns, and wanting to kill the collar piece, I finished my Belarus cosplay! I was lucky enough to be able to take pictures with cluequeen (Russia) and rammyz (America.) We were so hot...and I don't mean sexy (well, my Alfred and Ivan were ;-), I mean god damn why was it over 80 degrees out x_X

But yes, we did do a photoshoot, so I figured I'd share! Pairing wise, we have Belarus/Russia, Russia/America, and Belarus/America represented. Special thanks to rammyz for humoring me in my inexplicable love for AlNata.
