Fanfic Exchange: Hetalia Remix 2010

As if this fandom doesn't have enough challenges and exchanges already (not that I'm complaining!) -- I'm here to pimp a new one: hetaliaremix.

For those unfamiliar with the concept, Wikipedia describes a remix as "an alternative version of a song, different from the original version. This name is also used for any alterations of medias other than a song (film, literature, etc.)."

Fanfic has part of that "etc" since 2003 (when popslash introduced it). The idea for Hetalia Remix is that you rewrite a story by the author you get assigned, changing something about the original while retaining basics like characters and plot elements. There's more information at the introductory post, including guidelines on what is fair game and what is off-limits in a remix. There's also a section on eligibility. We're not trying to exclude anyone, but logic says that in order to be remixed, you have to have written something in the first place--unless you only want to be a pinch hitter, in which case please email Miaou (miaou dot jones at gmail).

If you have any questions after reading the introduction, please comment at that post. If you like what you see, I hope you'll join in the remix fun!
