[Tags] Master List

Here they are for your viewing (and using) pleasure:

These are the ones I thought to contribute the most, but sometimes I get way ahead of myself. There is no doubt the list will be added to and purged. Can you see some tags that obviously won't work? Can you think of some that would be more useful? Please post it here!


Some quick notes:

.community is for member-directed posts, such as friending memes (not for outside communities)
/ad is to be used for linking to outside of this community
^anime through ^webcomic are just general headings
ch = character
fw = fanworks
tp = time period


Now, about the pair categories, I have some questions for you:

1. Would you even want a pairing tag? (Seems like it could get lengthy)

2. If yes to (1), would pairings work better off by themselves or should they go under another tag, like fanfics?

3. And would it be better to name the pairs off using their Human names or just keep to the countries for simplicity?

The pairings tags don't have to be just for romantic relations, but for when the two characters are directly interacting and are the main point of the piece.

EDIT:  The pair tag has been removed. If anyone can think of a good method for organizing them beyond simple character x character, I'd be happy to hear your idea and consider reinstating it.

Use the tag that relates closest to your post. Ex: For an icon post, you only need to use fw: graphics: icons rather than just fw: graphics.

Use tags that are the obvious choices for your post. (In other words, you don't need to be digging deeply into your work/art/post to find the secret within the secret.)


Note: If you make a post and can't find the proper tags for it, chose the .Unsorted tag and PM me.

 

And Do Not Forget:
If you use the ~warning or the ^downloads tag, your post has to be locked!
