[Discussion] What is your personal head canon on Hetalia?

I had been reading fanfics all night yesterday and it just got me thinking of all the new head canons I made for myself. In case you don't know head canons are ideas and theories that are not official in a series but they make sense in your mind and act as imaginary facts :P Most of my head canon is gathered from fanfics... because I have no life.

For example some of mine are that:
- England is a huge fan of Simon Cowell and Harry Potter.
- In Austria's spare time he stands in front of the mirror naked and admires his manry Arnold Schwarzenegger-like muscles.
- Spain has a evil bastard side he keeps hidden from when he conquered the Aztecs.
- There used to be a Native American-tan before the Europeans arrived but he/she died and was replaced with baby America. Same thing with Canada.

Anyways I just wanted to hear some of other people's head canons. So... yeah :U

Alfred and Matthew were born to the earth and their coloration were the same, earning them a status as Sacred warrior twins to the natives. Unfortunately they were separated when young by a raid and both twins were in so much pain they forced themselves to forget.

Alfred not only raised 50 state tans, but he also takes time out of his life to visit them every year. He starts in Maine and heads up and down until he hits the coast then hops to Alaska and then spends a month on Hawaii's couch. Sometimes he drags matt along

Matt also does this for his Provinces. Only he visits them during Hockey season. He never brings Al along.

Al, Matt, and a couple of other countries, play Dnd every week. It helps them forget their problems. Al is a Paladin and Matt is a rouge.

France has a crush on England but know it will never get far.
Umm So many more.

I don't have any really, more than, I guess, that Norway got a little-brother-syndrome (always wanting to be better on everything, beating big brother is more important than the actual result. All while big brother is just as proud when his little brother win) on Sweden. Which isn't really headcanon, cause Norweigians do xD

I think America uses different accents for different emotions. For example, when he's nervous, he talks really fast and kind of like a valley girl.

America's also afraid of bees, hates birds and is allergic to cats.

Sweden can make ANYTHING with a hammer, and I mean ANYTHING. Even food. EDIBLE food.

Finland is a closet punk rocker, but he keeps it hidden most of the time out of fear of what others would think of him if they knew. He also likes to direct music videos, but his videos often turn out as bizarre as the names he gives things. (referring to the "I Want To Love You Tender" and "Party 4 Love" music videos)

Austria secretly enjoys toilet humour but would never admit it. (referring to the "Lick My Arse" canons Mozart wrote)

Canada smokes weed. Being raised by an alcoholic and a sex addict will do that to you, I guess.

UK is not blood related to his former colonies, though he is blood related to Sealand.

Germany built and owned the first DVD player and the first DVD in the 1940s. (referring to the fact that he somehow had DVDs in World War II in the anime)

Arthur's favorite playwright is Oscar Wilde and he is a die-hard Elton John fan. He collects antique china and can launch into (drunken) raptures about a cow-creamer. Oh. And he loves P.G. Wodehouse's writing XD

Italy and Poland are shopping and gossip buddies. They hang out and talk about their men every other weekend.

England is was a Magnificent Bastard and did not break down during the Revolution. >_> As much as I liked love the 'Cleaning out the Storage Closet' segment, I can never really like the idea of England crying in that situation. If anything America imagined that scene because it really upset the poor kid that much.

I would rather England cry in his private study afterward 'cause he's tough like that. England also holds pagan beliefs he's just that awesome

America is an avid reader of his own literature (but avoids talking about it) and even enjoys a few pieces of English literature.

Uhm... I can't think of many other things off the top of my head.

Oh! America is not an idiot.... -face palm- He's... not an idiot...he just doesn't care at all. He's great with hands on projects and really likes to tinker around with everything... but at heart he's a real mechanic~

I always think of Austria as the sort of tall, thin type (which isn't to say he can't spontaneously grow manry, Arnold Schwarzenegger-like muscles at will. XD). On a more serious note, I see him as having quite a dominating personality, it's just buried under fifty miles of polite manners. (I mean, come on, the guy built up an entire empire--there has to be something power-hungry about him.)

My head canons are lame. XD They mix together with real canon in my mind and I can't tell them apart anymore. XD I know I have more than this.

America, Canada, France and England get together on Christmas and have family time <3
America DOES eat salads occasionally. But they are covered in ranch dressing so it just defeats the purpose.
Canada is just as strong as America but doesnt show it to anyone.

one head canon I have, personally, is that America, Canada, and Mexico, North America, are maybe the closest nations friendship and family wise.They don't fight like North and South Italy, and they don't have an awkard realionship, like Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

And I don't remember any other head canon ^^;;

I think that Estonia and Finland are secret best friends and get drunk a lot together.

I tend to think that Israel-tan is actually a girl (she has a male name because she is a tomboy, and has to be, really) and has a crush on Alfred.

Um, and I think that China really, really does care for Taiwan, she just refuses to come back because she doesn't like how he lives and what he believes--his house isn't a place she finds easy to live in.

I love them so much. I like to think they secretly visit each other all the time so they can be like brothers together and awww... if I wasn't such a big fan of SuFin this would be my OTP, because it's sad and lovely and turns me to mush. I'm babbling now. ><;; *shuts up*

Also yeah xD Now I think about it, I've always just naturally seen Israel as a girl too. Let's hope the creator thinks so too, anyway.

Arthur loves classic literature and quotes Oscar Wilde when he can. :P He also has a weakness for Mark Twain, although he'd never admit to Alfred. He takes regular trips to Oxford and Cambridge. He can't stand Gordon Brown or John Major and finds the current Tories objectionable XD His views on Margaret Thatcher have to be censored. I made that one up :P

He adores fantasy roleplay and surreptitiously logs onto things like WoW, Second Life and other MMORPGs. He also admits that he likes DnD and often plays as a mage or knight class. His attention to detail is quite... something since he knows the rules better than Alfred does and is often a DM. I had to go there, he looks like the sort who could weave a story.

Feliks has fooled Ludwig more than once with his feminine dress sense. It gets embarrassing when Ludwig is drunk XD Of course, Feliks is very willing to to go a lot further.

Countries that are chronic alcoholics: Arthur, Ivan, Ludwig, Prussia, Austria. Austria can be very good at improv when out of his head on booze :P All don't admit it and refuse to acknowedge when they've said/done things or found themselves tied to lamp posts. Except Prussia.

Ivan is a firecracker privately. He has a respect for Stalin, Peter the Great and Catherine the Great who all, by pure coincidence, killed a lot of people in their reign. He is a whizz at chess.

Romano doesn't just dislike Ludwig. He has called Alfred and most of Europe a potato freak at one time or another. He is a vegetarian and often deliberately sides with PETA to provoke reactions. He doesn't really get them though...

Alfred has a room of comics he has collected. His favourite hobby is going around comic cons in the US. He loves Torchwood and cried bitterly at the end of series 3. He also adores Doctor Who and his favourite doctor is David Tennant because of his heroism. Secretly he likes the British Royal family but would never admit it.

Francis is not keen on Sarkozy because he wants his wife for himself. Sarkozy is also too short for his tastes :P He doesn't like cheese, preferring regional wines instead. Despite this he thinks other countries can produce nothing as good as his. He is ecretly afraid that his.... prowess is weakening so tries to improve with self help books XD Yeah, I went there :P

I'll stop there. I'm still developing my head canon for a story I have in mind but these are rough ideas I want to implement.
