[Discussion] What is your personal head canon on Hetalia?

I had been reading fanfics all night yesterday and it just got me thinking of all the new head canons I made for myself. In case you don't know head canons are ideas and theories that are not official in a series but they make sense in your mind and act as imaginary facts :P Most of my head canon is gathered from fanfics... because I have no life.

For example some of mine are that:
- England is a huge fan of Simon Cowell and Harry Potter.
- In Austria's spare time he stands in front of the mirror naked and admires his manry Arnold Schwarzenegger-like muscles.
- Spain has a evil bastard side he keeps hidden from when he conquered the Aztecs.
- There used to be a Native American-tan before the Europeans arrived but he/she died and was replaced with baby America. Same thing with Canada.

Anyways I just wanted to hear some of other people's head canons. So... yeah :U

I think this differs because WWII is so much closer in time than the American revolution.

China and Japan have an extremely violent and not-happy history. It's different because after America became independent--we just kept to ourselves until the World Wars. After Japan became a nation--they kept going off and picking at China. They have a much more violent history then America and England.

Many Chinese people, especially in the Nanjing area still hate the Japanese for what they did and will never forgive them. Japan also still hasnt given a formal apology. Their relationship is still not the best and they're considered "ok" at this point. America and England on the other hand, are two of the closest countries in the world. England was trying to control America, and keep him under his power, America rebelled for his freedom. China taught and gave Japan quite a couple of parts of his culture, Japan resented him for being annoying and stupid and attacked.

Yes they have the same basic storyline, one raised the other and the other betrayed them, and I do like seeing stories about the two of them fixing things and becoming friends again, but its nothing like the relationship between America and England.
