8 Livejournal Layouts

OKAY SO UM I MAY HAVE GOT CARRIED AWAY. Pretty sure I'm going to wake up tomorrow and be all "WTF, why is the Axis layout pink?"

BENEATH THE CUT WE HAVE:

- 2 Chibitalia/HRE smooches
- 2 Axis Powers, one of which includes a third Italy/HRE smooch
- 1 France
- 1 America
- 1 Germany
- 1 UK

UPDATE: The Flexible Squares layout should now work properly with or without a sidebar, and the position of user icons can be set in the Display: Presentation tab of the options page.

Flexible Squares Chibitalia is 732px wide, all others are 940px wide and use Unstyled Expressive.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS:

1) Upload the header image to Photobucket or whatever. Photobucket sometimes resizes your images, so make sure you have "1 megabyte" picked in the "reduce to" dropdown underneath your upload box.
2) Go to http://www.livejournal.com/customize/ and type "unstyled" into the search box. Apply Unstyled: Expressive. EXCEPTION: If you're using the Flexible Squares Chibitalia layout, search for Flexible Squares instead. Any style will work.
3) Go to http://www.livejournal.com/customize/options.bml and click on the "Custom CSS" tab
4) Paste the code from the CSS file into the "Custom Stylesheet" textbox. You can open the file with notepad if it doesn't auto-open in anything.
5) Look for this bit and replace "HEADER URL GOES HERE" with the link to where you've uploaded the header. NOTE: If you're using the Flexible Squares Chibitalia layout, it looks like this.
6) "Save Changes." You are done!


This is the Flexible Squares Chibitalia layout, please read the relevent notes in the instructions.

I love them all ♥ Though I tried using the first layout and the image wouldn't show up (I was definitely using the right link from pb) :S Alas, even if it had, the ads totally spoiled the prettiness >_< Tis the price I pay for having a sponsored account!

Hmmm, that's odd. I didn't try it on a sponsored account so it could be a conflict with the ads. I also know a couple people accidentally had spaces between the link and one or both brackets, which caused the header not to display.

I am having so much trouble, for some reason! ><

There's a huge space at the top, and when it comes to the place where the entry should be, the entry is at the top and the sidebar is pushed all the way to the bottom, below the entry. Do you have any idea what happened? I followed your instruction to the letter... >

Go to the CSS tab and make sure you've picked 'yes' on the "Use layout's "Base Weblog" stylesheet" option.
