8 Livejournal Layouts

OKAY SO UM I MAY HAVE GOT CARRIED AWAY. Pretty sure I'm going to wake up tomorrow and be all "WTF, why is the Axis layout pink?"

BENEATH THE CUT WE HAVE:

- 2 Chibitalia/HRE smooches
- 2 Axis Powers, one of which includes a third Italy/HRE smooch
- 1 France
- 1 America
- 1 Germany
- 1 UK

PREVIEW:



UPDATE: The Flexible Squares layout should now work properly with or without a sidebar, and the position of user icons can be set in the Display: Presentation tab of the options page.

Flexible Squares Chibitalia is 732px wide, all others are 940px wide and use Unstyled Expressive.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS:

1) Upload the header image to Photobucket or whatever. Photobucket sometimes resizes your images, so make sure you have "1 megabyte" picked in the "reduce to" dropdown underneath your upload box.
2) Go to http://www.livejournal.com/customize/ and type "unstyled" into the search box. Apply Unstyled: Expressive. EXCEPTION: If you're using the Flexible Squares Chibitalia layout, search for Flexible Squares instead. Any style will work.
3) Go to http://www.livejournal.com/customize/options.bml and click on the "Custom CSS" tab
4) Paste the code from the CSS file into the "Custom Stylesheet" textbox. You can open the file with notepad if it doesn't auto-open in anything.
5) Look for this bit and replace "HEADER URL GOES HERE" with the link to where you've uploaded the header. NOTE: If you're using the Flexible Squares Chibitalia layout, it looks like this.
6) "Save Changes." You are done!

Oh dear... I tried the Expressive ItalyxHRE one but it looks... wierd on my browser. Are the layouts only for Internet Explorer? I'm currently using Firefox so maybe that's the problem =(

I'm glad you like it! Though to let you know, I just updated the code so that it doesn't leave that big space if you're not using a sidebar, and lets you choose which side to show you icon on (through the display tab on the options page (http://www.livejournal.com/customize/options.bml)). If that space is bugging you you may want to update!
