That is it folks.
This was almost word for word a conversation I had while visiting ground zero with my class with a blond haired man in a cowboy hat and a leather coat.
I shit you not! 
It made a lasting impression on me and I have been wanting to tell others about it and I guess with all the patriotism going on even a Matthewian at heart gets a little riled up.
Its been my observation that America gets a lot of flak, its just cool to hate America (the country not the character) and that most Americans take it in stride, either doggedly ignoring it, laughing about ourselves or getting butt hurt (or a combo of all three with is interesting to watch.)
I usually laugh but today some one told us we deserved the pain and horror and that other places were a lot worse off than us and we should feel bad for mourning.  I remembered this conversation and wrote this.

For those who don't know the bootleg ones have rather odd hair colours (i shall be re-painting them once i can bothered too), but most are alright. I bought them cos i'll never be able to afford the original ones ^^;

Tomorrow, the cosplay roadshow 2009 hits Hertfordshire, at the Wolsey hall in Cheshunt. It runs from 11-4pm, with DDR UK, a masquerade and various dealers - it's an event set up by the MCM group. I personally have missed the past 2 MCM expos (D: ) and so will be going, as fem!Ludwig, with a Litchenstien and a Chi from Chobits. We may have other people as well. xD

We've posted something up here before about it, but I didn't hear of anyone else being able to come. ;n; Please tell me we won't be the some of the only APH cosplayers there. xD;;
