Just out of curiosity, how would one go about writing Hong Kong's gyaruo dialect in English?

Personally (and as someone who speaks very little Japanese), I've always imagined it as something like Poland's Nagoya schoolgirl deal with a spattering of Otakuese Japanese on top, though neither would be so completely overwhelming and obnoxious that you'd want to push HK down a flight of stairs. Then again, since I don't know enough Japanese to go around picking out dialects, this could be completely wrong.

Is there a standard-ish way of translating the way gyaruo speak?

Also, was Inoue Go talking about Spain having a Kansai accent in Ore-sama CD's cast talk track? Does Spain have a Kansai accent? This has been bugging me lately...

So yes, France nii-chan's extensive report of Fan Expo 2009 is a go! I managed to drag along eyebrows UK and a stoic Germany for the weekend to create havoc with XD
