There are comics where Prussia and Germany are in the same strip. Prussia calls Germany "West."

I think there are a couple, but the only specific one I can think of off the top of my head is the Valentine's Day Collection. It's on my to-do list for translation, but I'm holding off until Chibitalia is released.

You guys are so awesome for translating Hetalia for people who cannot speak Japanese like myself.
I have two questions, one for you and one about Hetalia if you don't mind. (Sorry if this bugs you, very curious you see.)
How did you learn Japanese? (Or are you from Japan, in that case, how did you learn English?)
And who started Poland's valley girl accent? I love it!

I'm Japanese-American and I was born in the US. I don't speak Japanese at home but I've been studying it for over 10 years now, so I'm quite confident in my skills as a translator.
The author of Hetalia chose to give Poland a Nagoya high-schooler accent "out of personal preference", and the best translatable equivalent is a valley-girl accent.

I'm almost 20 right now and I started when I was about 10. So maybe more like over 9 years and almost 10.
Um, whoever translated Poland first...? It's kind of a common sense thing among most of the translators.

Nah, my dad doesn't speak it and my mother is Chinese, but the culture is still a big part of my life so I just sort of started learning myself. My school didn't offer Japanese, but there are Japanese bookstores in my area so I bought a bunch of books and dictionaries and got the English translations and eventually started making my own translations that way. I also have resources at my family's church which is mainly Japanese-American people.
What I meant by my earlier comment is that a Nagoya teenager accent is virtually the same as a valley girl, so any translator worth their salt probably would have thought of it...

That's a lot of dedication! I don't think I'd have the patience for it! That's really cool though, I love hearing about how people accomplish things.
Oh I see now, Lol Nagoya teenager accent? That's awesome. It makes me laugh a lot XD
Wow, I just realized how easily impressed I am XD
