Countries and bosses

Or, well, not exactly.

What I'm wondering, because I had I brilliant and mildly weird idea, and it's in the middle of the night, and I got kind of caught up in it, IS: ... or wait, no. Not a question because I'm too tired to get my brain around that.

Example instead: Prussia obsesses over Frederick the Great, and then there's France and Jeanne d'Arc, and aha, I knew my mind would catch up: do any of the other nations have bosses or just someone of their people that they can't forget, or are really obsessed with, or have conflicted feelings about? Like Russia and the Romanovs.

Who do you think they are? It doesn't have to be one person, can be many, and it doesn't have too be a person that the nation has only positive memories of, right? Just someone they remember and can't forget about.

That being said, I can't help but feel that Sweden is a massive Gustav Adolf fanboy. Of course he is.

But what do you think?

I think Spain was absolutely in love with Isabella I. He liked Ferdinand well enough but he loved Isabella the most (but never acted on his love for her save for almost terrifying devotion). So he's always been superbly pissed off at Austria and England for not treating his beloved Isabella's children right (Juana la Loca and Katherine of Aragon, who were married off to the respective kings).

Russia probably had whirlwind romances and relationships in general starting from Peter the Great, his daughter Empress Elizabeth and ending with Empress Catherine the Great. Let's not talk about psychotic Empress Anne... x.x

Korea was probably very, very fond of King Sejong the Great and his mother (the kingdom of Silla) probably had a lot of affection for Queen Sondok (A fascinating figure in history and one of the earliest female monarchs to rule in her own right in Eas Asia).

I absolutely agree on Isabel I. She was hardcore.
