Ahahaha oh god I can't believe I'm doing this.Title: The Best of All Possible Worlds, Part I
Author:
adessoCharacter(s): Veneziano, Romano, France, Austria
Rating: PG
Warnings: Romano's language; France being a creeper.
Summary: In the 19th century, the nation of Italy exists only as "a geographic expression." Veneziano and Romano are in different houses far from home, with the Pope's kingdom between them. They're told they cannot rule themselves, and Veneziano thinks that is all right - but it would be very nice to see his brother again.
Part I: The Napoleonic Kingdom of Italy unites the peninsula for the first time since the Roman Empire. France is really a terrible influence.
--> The Best of All Possible Worlds, Part I <-- This is a work-in-progress, so feel free to critique it! Part II will be posted as soon as I, uh, figure out how to characterize Giuseppe Garibaldi. (I might even need a Part III, depending on how talkative Prussia ends up being.)
