Thrift store find - America bear!

I was at a newly opened Goodwill about a week ago and I was searching through the stuffed animals section for a hat for Kumajirou when my friend pointed out a glorious find to me: a stuffed bear with movable limbs that was dressed like America. He was $3.00 and probably the happiest purchase of my life. Until I get a hockey jersey probably but shh.

I proceeded to go to Build-A-Bear and purchase him a little American flag to hold and a pair of glasses, because surely he is not complete without patriotism and Texas. Pictures under the cut!

I'm debating having him accompany me to Kumoricon. He would be most amused by the potluck, I'm sure.
