First: Those two keychains...the ones with the actual anime eyes and the ones of every nation. I know you can order them online, but is that the only way you can aquire them? Because I would love to purchase some Hetalia merch to take home but I am having MASSIVE difficulty locating one! Any merch is decent, so could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Second: Iceland's comment. This is totally unrelated to the first one but when Iceland says he's so angry he went to get his DNA checked, what does that mean? My sister mused it meant that he usually isn't so angry and he went to check his DNA to see if it was really him. Could someone enlighten us? Thanks again!

a/n: I spent good six days writing this. It was ridiculously hard - writing from Berwald's point of view has actually never been this difficult for me. I tried to write it from Tino's POV but that just failed even more, somehow I find him harder to control. I listened hundreds of times to Benny's "Rocket in the sky" and this doesn't even have anything to do with the lyrics. I just think it's a pretty song perfect for UK/US.

I hope you enjoy reading this more than I enjoyed writing it.

OH GOD THIS TOOK FOREVER TO WRITE. I love writing the brothers though, especially with stuff like this.

I had three days off in a row from work (working less hours per my request, since BOY OH BOY I wanted more of a summer than I was getting), and spent a majority of it marathon-reading entirely too many series that had a character terrified of lightning. And..well, it goes from there...

Still researching for that 30 Years War fic--but things are getting in the way. I’ll get around to it eventually.

Title comes from Vienna Teng's "Nothing Without You", which has reminded me of the Germany/Italy pairing after I got into Hetalia. Her voice is beautiful and the song is achingly sad.
