First time posting here, and I'm really nervous. Anyway, I'm starting to love Chibitalia more and more, so I decided to scanlate this strip myself. It's Chibitalia and Holy Roman Empire playing in the river and, well.
EDIT HRE (everyone, really) thinks that Chibitalia is a girl, so I had to make a teensy edit. Thanks to picnicbird for pointing this out.

... this series is helpful but screws with my mind an awful lot XD ... that's oooold XD then again... Germany's pretty new in the scheme of things... I mean... he was only there since... the 1890s? 1880s?

XD All I know is that HRE was split into two and then became Germany. If one was Prussia, I wonder who the other country is. O:!

XD And yeah, dear god, Italy should be an old man. Germany was from 1870s, I think. xD So young. It's scary how Hetalia compels us to learn. Gyahahaha.

These hystorical truth are not reflected to profiles aroud "Germanies" in Hetalia...
German is HRE's father, but in Hetalia CD (it's indies one, but supervised by Himaruya) Roman Empire called Germany "Son of German" and said "I saw your father's face" to Germany.
It means HRE and Germany are brothers with a large age difference...or Germany is HRE'S reincarnation:o

...Maybe we need profile page gathered official information in English.
There are many mixed informations (truth or not) in this community about each countries^^;

But, yeah. It's best to read Hetalia, lol, and look up the significance of what you just read.

I'm pretty positive Germany is HRE too.

More or less, HRE => the Kingdom of Prussia and the Austrian Empire. Prussia then formed the North German Confederation, which became the German Empire, which became the Weimar Republic, which became Germany.
