Even as much as I adore Lithuania, I really did have to double check the title in the blog to make sure it was him-- to me, he looks extremely different from the usual Lithuania. In a good way, of course, but still.

So if Liet can change that much, then cute kid having darker hair than Romania doesn't flat out mean "not Romania", even if that is most likely the case.
If he hadn't made such a deal over not showing us Moldova's face before then everything would make sense. Hima's just so odd. <3

Really though I want that hat to still float when he's not crying. It's cute. ;w;

the thing is that romania canonically has a little brother named moldova, but we don't have any hints of an older brother. . . and correct me if i'm wrong, but i can't think of a country that would count as an older brother for romania and still be a member of the eastern bloc. i don't know, it might not be moldova, but i really doubt it's romania. himaruya has never drawn romania with two fangs before, despite the fact that they switch sides.

Yeah, it's for sure canon that Romania and Moldova are brothers, I'm not arguing it in any way ;w;
It's just it's Japan, so you never know-- "oni-chan" isn't exclusive to your actual older brother. He could just as easily be crying to Pru or Liet.


BUT (unless my history sucks-- which it does, but still) Russia should be the majority of the reason that Moldova and Romania are separate characters, right? So during the time that they're all together, Moldova should be a little bitty cutething. So. it works. xD

yeah, that's exactly right! i think a really good case can be made for moldova.

It doesn't exclude any possiblities, of course. Moldova can still be calling Pru or Liet that, easily.

@w@ This picture better mean Romania and Moldova will both be in the new manga volume, though.
