This one looks much better than the America and England ones! And since those turned out much better-looking in person (IMHO) than in their online pictures, I can't wait to see how this one looks once I have it in hand!

I bought them together, too. I was originally not going to buy them (as much as I love both characters) because they looked so derptastic, but then I saw them in the dealers' room at Anime USA this past November and immediately changed my mind. First purchase of the con. No regrets. >:D

Here, I took a couple pics of my own. Sorry that they're a little blurry - I'm not quite used to using my 3DS camera yet.

First, England (GE pic (http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg160/kamikazemusume/8923.jpg), My pic (http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg160/kamikazemusume/HNI_0002.jpg)/Rear view (http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg160/kamikazemusume/HNI_0003.jpg)). As you can see, the overall design hasn't changed much. HOWEVER, take a look closer at his face (http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg160/kamikazemusume/HNI_0004.jpg). He's still a little wall-eyed, but HE HAS A NOSE, HOORAY! Also, his other facial features aren't as obviously pasted on. Also noteworthy, but not visible in the GE pic are the pockets and belt/buckle (http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg160/kamikazemusume/HNI_0006.jpg) on his uniform. There's a lot of detail that was missed in the original GE pic.

Now America (GE pic (http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg160/kamikazemusume/8924.jpg), My pic (http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg160/kamikazemusume/HNI_0007.jpg)/Rear view (http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg160/kamikazemusume/HNI_0008.jpg)). By far the more improved of the two, IMO. First, his face (http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg160/kamikazemusume/HNI_0009.jpg). Nantucket is much more noticeable than in the GE pic, and as with England, his facial features and glasses are not as obviously pasted on. His torso area (http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg160/kamikazemusume/HNI_0010.jpg) is also improved, as his buckle and the star on his jacket are of a more natural color and, though one can't see it easily in a photo, are actually SHINY. One also misses the detail on his sleeve (http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg160/kamikazemusume/HNI_0011.jpg) in the GE pic.

tl;dr - GE used some pretty obvious prototype models for their website. I'm not sure why, since the prototypes in this case looked like crap, but IDK.

I thought that might be the case, but I wasn't sure. It's the first time I've seen anything like it. Usually I just see people using small regular pillows for that.
