This entry features a beautiful valley town in autumn, and a sketch of the mysterious "Vegemite coupon" he mentioned briefly between some updates in the Micro-Event.

The reason this is significant to us though, is that underneath he mentions Halloween updates. If someone could translate this, that'd be appreciated. :3

Maybe the Vegemite coupon is to show that he'll fulfill his promise to eat Marmite if he updated the event late, but he might have an easier time getting a hold of Vegemite instead? Just a guess there. ^_^()

Also, on http://www.geocities.jp/himaruya/hall20110.html there's text under Italy and Japan, was that there before or not? First one says something about the social classes in Rome, and under Japan it says something about it being hard to walk in those traditional sandals I think?

Was that already there before, or new?

Hehe, yup, it was on the front page or in his blog (I forget which) between one of the early or middle sets of updates. "I'll update at (time), or else I'll make myself eat Marmite!" or something like that.

Shirakawa Village in Gifu Prefecture. It's the place that Hinamizawa from Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is based on.

...I almost wrote Higurashi no Naku Koru ni. xD My brain is one with Russia!

It isn't just you! That's the town that Hinamizawa's based off of, and a nearly identical picture is in the Higurashi anime's opening. It's called Shirakawa Village, in Gifu Prefecture.

The coupon says "Vegemite," not "Marmite." Under the photo, it says, "I want to gather up various souvenirs and toys from the native places of characters from the Chuubu Region." The photo's title means, "Now in Gifu."
