Hetalia Wiki New Location: Open for Editing Again.

Because the technical difficulties have taken so long, we've made the decision to move... again. It's not a decision we were thrilled to make but editing has been disabled since June, and we wanted up-to-date information. Plus I missed editing it...shut up.

Hello everyone! After a few long days, the move is finished! The move started on October 30 and I’ve been putting long hours into the move; usually starting at 1 PM and finishing at 3:30 AM each day (with the exception of yesterday which was my check-up day before posting). It was long and tedious but it was worth it! The site is so much faster and I’m loving it!

As you may know, accounts couldn’t be transferred over. However, if you sign-up with your old user name that you used on ShoutWiki you’ll get your user contributions back. Once you reclaim your account, I can transfer over your user page and talk page via copypasta. I thought you couldn’t get your contributions back but it seems I was incorrect after I checked FH14’s user contributions as a test.

Again, thank you so much for being patient with us. I hope this will be the last move for us and I certainly hope you’ll keep using the site for your Hetalia needs! If you could update your bookmarks and pass the word around, that would be fantastic! Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to rest my wrist. XD

Will this be actualised ? Since the Shoutwiki had been dropped and the information is getting older. Can we also include bits of fanon trivia in characters' profiles ? Such as "5 meters" meme in Prussia's profile.

There's a separate page for fanon things. To prevent confusion no fanon things(or at least very few) will be put on official pages.

I hope I'm not being really pushy, but I'd been thinking that adding more character pages would make more sense. I know you have a lot of editing to do, but one of my biggest problems is how characters liek Monaco, TRNC, or PICARDY of all characters have pages while others like Vietnam don't yet.

We have profiles characters like Vietnam but they're mock-ups that FH14 keeps in his sandbox (http://hetalia.wikinet.org/wiki/User:FH14/Sandbox). It really depends on how much info is available and has been translated. Characters like Vietnam and Thailand are almost ready to go. We're just waiting for more translations (unless they were already posted and we missed it). If you've got some to add feel free to add it in on the wiki. His profile mock-ups are available for anyone to edit. C:

We add pages for them when we get enough canon information for them. So far all of those characters have been given profile and at least hints to character relationships, even if they had minor appearances. At the times we could last edit, Vietnam didn't. However, because she's appeared in volume 4(and we couldn't edit just before it came out or any time after) and we have more information on her because of it we'll need to make her a character page, yes.

Actually that's the first thing I'm doing! For over a year now I have a running list of mockups for character pages and when they have enough info they get pages.

Pages for Macau, Romania, Thailand, and Vietnam are basically ready, I just need to check over a few things first.

Thanks for the updates and all your time and effort! I've been using the Wikia and Shoutwiki pages for information. Shoutwiki has given me lots of problems, so I'm glad you finally found a another place.
