Hetalia starts the serialization in paper in the Comic Birz Magazine that is on sale today. The magazine includes a box to keep the volumes 1-4 of the manga with a new ilustration by Himaruya as a celebration for the beginning of the publication there.

For those who want it, you probably can buy the magazine at Amazon.jp or some other shop that sells manga magazines instead of buying it overpriced at ebay.

Usually these kind of gifts come wraped together with the magazine, so if you buy the magazine online you'll probably get the box too.

I don't have a credit card, I can't read kanji and I live in Germany. There are no stores selling foreign manga anywhere near me. Guess I'll have to count on ebay. :/
On a side note: Is it just me, or does Italy look kind of creepy on that box artwork?

Is the box already assembled when you buy it? Or do you have to do it yourself? Probably the latter, since an empty paper box would take too much space and could be crushed easily.

Maybe if I did a group order for some people it'd be okay. I checked, and if I ordered 10 and split the price, it'd come around $16. However, shipping from Australia to anywhere else could cost about $20. Even if I got a middleman from Japan to send it, I'd cost way too much. Sigh.

I mean, it's just a pretty box. I shouldn't get too attached. Even if it has Prussia on it. *Sniff*

I find the shipping prices more reasonable at HMV Japan. Their shipping to Australia would be ¥1200, and that's by EMS so it should only take 3 days to arrive. They also seem to keep the issues in stock for longer (I did a quick search and they still have lots of previous issues of the magazine available) so you wouldn't have to rush out and order it right away out of fear of missing out.
