[Hetalia Day] Kansas City Metro
Hello Kansas City Hetalia fans!
I'm heading a Hetalia Day gathering for the Kansas City metro area, and I invite both those from Kansas and Missouri sides of the line to come join us on 10/23/11.
Yes, this is SUNDAY, not Saturday. We are okayed to run the event on 10/23, because it is not possible for us to do it on the twenty-second.
Here's the info I have for you all:
Location:
Old Shawnee Pizza
6000 Rogers Dr
Shawnee, KS 66203
We will be at the 61st and Nieman location of Old Shawnee Pizza, a Kansas City local pizza, pasta, etc. restaurant. A meal there will run you from about six to twelve dollars. I have their large party room reserved, so we WILL be separate from the rest of the establishment. It is an ALL AGES establishment, so any fan is welcome. If you don't want to eat, that is fine. Here is the menu.
To those of you that were there last year, this room IS larger than the one we were in at Minsky's last year. Also, they allow separate checks. XD
When: Sunday 10/23/11 at 3:30 P.M. I have the party room reserved until 6:00 P.M., so if you can't get there quite that early, it's fine. We have hours! If you get to the restaurant and you don't see us, just ask where the O'Connor party is.
What to bring: Whatever you want! You can come in cosplay if you wish, certainly, although it is by no means required. We will certainly be getting photos of the group though, so look your Hetalia best! We encourage you to bring anything that you might think fun to share with fellow fans as well. :)
Plans so far: General Hetalia shenanigans, socializing, fun and Hetalia related games (with possible prizes)! We've run this event the last two years and had tons of fun. We're going to bring something special for dessert as well. Hope to see you all there!

You can also attend this event on facebook here. That would actually be really helpful for trying to get a more accurate idea of how many people are attending.
