Searching for translators

Hi to everyone.


Recently I've bought a lot of FranceSpain doujinshi and I thought about scanning them but they're big and it's a lot of work. So here's my deal: if someone offers to translate them (only a translation. Can be done in a txt file) I will scan them. I don't ask for a scanlation, nor image edition, I can try to do that myself or search for help, but all I want is a translation from japanese to english (or Spanish) since I can't do it myself.

I have  La Fête too. For this one I need someone that would be really willing to help because it is BIG (172 pages).

Hi.

I can scan two or three pages to see if she's interested or not. Memoria is quite big and scan it it's quite a job. So I can show her some pages, do the translation of those pages (to make sure) and then I will scan the rest.

I think there should be more Frain translated,yep ;v; '

(But then I read that you only need the translation, but she does scanlation like add the translation to the original....)

Well if she wants to do the scanlation, it's fine. I said the translation because I thought that people didn't want to do all the editing, but if she wants to do it, then it's fine ouo

Hello again!

So I just got a reply from her and she said that she is interested in doing both "under world" and "memoria", but you see she ask for donation for each translation she do. She wonder if you are okay with her charging for translation because she knows how big the raws are and how long it would take for you to scan them. (She have a good reason, I promise). If you are okay with it because she would love to do those two in the future. :)

So, here is her response: "I have to see the whole doujin, how big the sfx and how complicated the Japanese is in general, but considering the number of pages, both will be over 30$."

Since it's huge, so yeah..what do you think?

Hi.

I understand that translating is quite an effort but 30 dollars is way to much. I hope that you understand that I am not willing to pay more than I already paid for that doujinshi to see the translation (I paid less than 30$ each...) . I would love to know what they're saying, but it is expensive and with that money I can buy other frain doujinshi.

I hope you understand my point ú.u' I'm sorry but I guess I will have to pass.

You are misunderstanding me, she ask people to donate to her the amount. (People just donate to her).

You don't have to pay, you can just scan it :)


So this is her system. She presents a doujishi she is going to translate, then people will just donate how much they want to her and when she reach that amount, she will do it :)


Like 30 dollars--> people donate whatever amount aka $30 = 30 people donating a dollar---->enough money and if it goes over, she add it to the next douinshi and make the charge for the next doujinshi less---> she translate the doujinshi.

She is not asking you to pay, she is just asking if you are okay with her asking for donations from her followers..

I'm sorry but it will still be a pass.

I paid less than 30 USD for that doujinshi and when searching for translators I was searching for people that would like to see translate it because they love the art or like the pairing. I was planning on scan and editting the doujinshi for FREE just to know what the doujinshi was about.

You're asking me to scan the doujinshi (and inevitably damaging the book, because I've already scanned other stuff) to give the raw to other person that will charge money to other people just to see a scanlation. If she was the one buying the doujinshi and damaging them I wouldn't say a word because it would be money to buy more doujinshi. But, this way, I don't think it's fair.

I hope that you understand my point here.

(and find translators, she is only one person I know that can....and she is wonderful at it and she just started doing the system because she needs money)

I would love to see those translated, so when I have my scanlation group all set up,I will come back to you to get and do them for free or when I find another friend interested. :) <3

Hi :)

Might be too late though , not good at checking dates ! But anyway, I'm a BIG Hetalia shipper and Spain and France are definitly in my TOP 5
And so... I'm learning Japanese. and I'm willing to translate what ever doujinshi you need for free !
My level in Japanese is about JLPT 2, so there might be mistakes and such, but if you don't mind then I'm your girl.
Also... i'm french. yeah, like french >< but I hope my english skills will be enough to convince you that I might fit for that job :D

Anyway, Let me know on FB ! (I can translate probably no more than 30 pages doujinshi, I didn't check all of them, but the big one I will pass ! Not sure I would finish it, that's why !)
