I just got through reading this. Fairly interesting, although I do wish some more answerable questions were asked. =/

I'm surprised the audience was described as "small." I would have expected a huge turn out for the director and one of the original VAs. Maybe I'm over estimating the number of Hetalia fans there are out there... Or the panel room was just huge and couldn't be filled up lol.

Thanks for sharing this, it's a really interesting read. A lot of the answers give me hope that there'll be more episodes in the future :)

Probably a good thing in retrospect though that some of the more..."special" fans didn't show up and ask offensive questions and whatnot.

Very true, especially since it was Susanuma's first and Shirohata's second trip to America. Any offensive questions might have painted western fans in a bad light :X

Nah, there were enough Hetalia fans to pack the biggest room in the con for the premier of World Series, and this event was in a MUCH smaller room.

The problem is that U.S. fans who attend cons are FAR more interested in the U.S. VA's than the Japanese staff. In fact, I was running late to get Shirohata and Susanuma's autographs. I'm used to trying to get English VA autographs, so I had intended to get there AT LEAST an hour early so I could have a chance... I got there 5 minutes before the autograph session started, and my DVDs were signed within thirty minutes.

To put this into perspective, there was an Hetalia Cast signing Sunday morning, and that line was still going strong 2 hours after they opened the doors. The English Va's are just more popular at conventions.

HOWEVER, even though the room wasn't packed, it was at least halfway full, which is more than a lot of other panels that day. Peter S. Beagle had a MUCH smaller audience than that.

Reading some of the answers, it makes me think we'll have another season of Hetalia anime... But the part I loved the most, is when Shirohata said he would like to have more characters songs *_*
