Otakon Hosts Hetalia Director Shirohata, Actor Sasanuma

Funimation voice cast to appear for Hetalia World Series' U.S. premiere

The organizers of Otakon announced on Monday that the convention will host director Bob Shirohata and Japanese voice actor Akira Sasanuma as guests of honor during the July 29-31 event in Baltimore.

Funimation's ADR engineer Scott Sager for Hetalia World Series and American voice actors Scott Freeman (Britain in Hetalia, Yuuji Sakamoto in Baka and Test), Patrick Seitz (Germany in Hetalia, Simon in Durarara!!) and Michael Tatum (France in Hetalia, Sebastian Michaelis in Black Butler) will all appear at the Hetalia World Series premiere and Q&A panel.

Wow you guys got the word up here fast! But yes, glad to see people are already getting excited! Otakon should have a good year this year!

There's also going to be a Funimation sponsored Mock UN as there was last year! (I or one of the others involved will probably make a separate post about that somewhere down the line!) The MUN while Funi sponsored is fan run and we really hope to see a bunch of you guys there! Should be a good time!

Yes,I am part of the Hetalia MUN (I will be Belarus) and I am assisting at the other events!
