[AnimeNEXT] MUN Panel Recruiting
I meant to post this forever ago. Whoops?
Sorry I'm kinda in the middle of cosplay work with con season picking up some more, so I've been busy in the land of sewing lately.
But anyway, for those of you attending AnimeNEXT this June. Proud to say I will be running the MUN panel again this year. And we're looking for some people to fill in some slots. We got a handful of people already selected and cast'd due to the fact of being mods/ helping mods out, but there are still plenty of characters still waiting to be filled in for.
You may apply for any character open, and may fill out multiple applications for as many different characters as you want. Decisions are based on who is the best applicant for the character, and it is NOT being given out on a first come first serve basis. This gives a better chance of the right man getting the job, and limits playing favorites between people.
We are looking out to fill up the Allies, Axis, and any canon characters in the security council for the 2011 year before any other nations.
You may apply for any CANON characters besides them as well, but Allies, Axis and Security Council members get priority pick as we limit the cast list a limit to around 15 people give or take 2 or 3 upon our discretion.
Taken characters at this point:
America - Madgophermm5
Belarus - SetaGinny
China - Roora
England - SpPandaaa
France - Chibiplz
Italy (North) - Phish93
Everyone else not listed is fair game for the application round. Also please bear in mind, even if you're the only one to apply for a certain character it does not guarantee you the role.
Proper attire to wear on panel is either canon outfits (preferably the WWII uniforms or the most common clothes the character wears [Seychelles blue dress, Ukraine's overalls, Taiwan's qipao, etc]) or a suit, and tie. While your cosplay might not play a big role in your selection, it can be a deciding factor between two applicants.
Application pool will close June 5, 2011 (5/5/11) decisions will be made within the day or two, and chosen applicants will be notified immediately after final decisions.
