A questionnaire - Fandoms in different countries

Hello Everyone!
I have a favor to ask for – that’s to fill the questionnaire below.
I’m writing an article for Polish Hetalia FanSite (www.hetalia.org) about fandoms in foreign countries and how people in different countries see Hetalia. Obviously, my knowledge of these is quite limited and therefore I need help of Hetalia fans – you! The questionnaire will consist of around 10 questions and will ask about more general view on certain topics within your country rather than your own. It will take you only about 15 minutes to complete – only few sentences of an answer will be enough! - But it will be such a great help for me!

 So here goes the questionnaire:

 1) What country are you from?
 2) Was your country already made a character of Hetalia?
 3) If it was, how fans in your country reacted to that personification? Do you guys like it or is there something you would like to change in it?
 4) If not, is there an ‘official’ OC that was made in your fandom in place of your missing country? How does it looks like, how does it reflect upon your country's features?
 5) Can you define who is the most popular character of Hetalia in your country?
 6) What about the pairings? Is there any pairings that seems to be liked by the most of people in your country or is it very divided?
 7) What is the most common view on the character of Poland? Is the Feliks, how he was created by the author, easily accepted?
 8) How does the fandom in your country works? Do you have any particular site or a forum that most of fans seem to use? Can you tell how many Hetalia fans, approximately, there is in your country?
 9) Is Hetalia seen more of a humorous manga that shouldn’t be taken seriously? Is many people trying to apply actual historical meaning to it?
 10) Is there any popular memes (for example: Iceland's white boots, Hotland’s…pardon me, Netherlands’ tulips etc.), sayings, tags that you see as common only in your country?

 And that is it :D!
Thank you all for taking part in this questionnaire! It means a lot!
[ I've got cherishedsaulie's  approval for posting the questionnaire]

1) What country are you from?
- Finland
2) Was your country already made a character of Hetalia?
- Yup.
3) If it was, how fans in your country reacted to that personification? Do you guys like it or is there something you would like to change in it?
- I guess we like it :'D At least me and my friends like the personification, and I've never met a Finn who wouldn't like Tino. But there is something why we all (I mean me and my friends) were slightly perplexed when we found Hetalia, and it's Finland's happy and talkative personality. But don't get me wrong, I don't mean that there's something wrong with his cheery personality - but in all honesty, that's not the very first image what comes to my mind when thinking a good personification for Finland.
4) If not, is there an ‘official’ OC that was made in your fandom in place of your missing country? How does it looks like, how does it reflect upon your country's features?
- -
5) Can you define who is the most popular character of Hetalia in your country?
- Uh, Denmark? I don't really know... but among the Finns I know Denmark (and the Nordics in general) are really popular.
6) What about the pairings? Is there any pairings that seems to be liked by the most of people in your country or is it very divided?
- SuFin and DenNor. But of course, people are different and not everyone loves these pairings.
7) What is the most common view on the character of Poland? Is the Feliks, how he was created by the author, easily accepted?
- ..aaggh, what a difficult question! I don't know, I haven't talked much about Poland with my friends. I think Poland was easily accepted, because he is seen as a internally strong character and I personally like Poland very much. The thought of Poland being referred as a phoenix inspires me.
8) How does the fandom in your country works? Do you have any particular site or a forum that most of fans seem to use? Can you tell how many Hetalia fans, approximately, there is in your country?
- LJ, deviantART, FinFanFun (a Finnish forum).. Surprisingly many likes Hetalia :D that's all I can say.
9) Is Hetalia seen more of a humorous manga that shouldn’t be taken seriously? Is many people trying to apply actual historical meaning to it?
- Hetalia is seen as both humorous manga and a fandom with a deep meaning.
10) Is there any popular memes (for example: Iceland's white boots, Hotland’s…pardon me, Netherlands’ tulips etc.), sayings, tags that you see as common only in your country?
- ... moi moi! Yeah, that's pretty common :'D (but we usually laugh at it just because it's amusing how people who aren't from Finland think that our 'moi moi' sounds cute.. xD oh c'mon, it's just our way of saying 'bye bye'!)

But it IS cute. :'3 (I suppose "bye bye" is kind of, too. XD Still though...)

Ah, I suppose so xD But I didn't even realize how cute it sounds before I got into Hetalia. So now everytime I hear someone saying ''moi moi!'', I burst out laughing and hoping that no-one noticed... it's kind of embarrassing, really (especially because we Finns use 'moi moi' really often :'D).
Oh Hetalia, the things you do to me.

XD That's okey. It is a little embarrassing, but I still burst out laughing when something I can relate to Hetalia comes up as well. (If you burst out laughing and someone asks why, then you can be like, "Oh...It's nothing. :'3").

Well yeah, but after doing it numerous times I'm getting tired of it. Luckily my friends (who know nothing about Hetalia) understand me, so they don't tend to ask extra questions ^^

Yeah, I suppose it does get that way after some time. Still though, I find the confusion amusing. Lol, my friends are pretty much the same. Only three of them know the series, but they just join me in laughing in that case. XD
