I'd love to try attempting to make something for this, but... my cooking skills aren't... the strongest and the only things I can make are considered staples in the house I live in (like rice which I just put in a rice cooker; I understood why people dump it in a pot and boil it or use "insta-rice"). I'm not awful though; I'm just not that good and lack kitchen safety knowledge... It would be great to see what people make. I wonder if it is okay if what I make at least looks like it tastes good?

Wow... my writing is worsening... I mean that I never understood why people dump the rice in a pot with water to boil rather than to use a rice cooker. T_T

I know, but I tend to have... issues with cooking rice without using a rice cooker... (though when we make congee we boil the rice in a pot).

I boil it because my mum boils it. We don't have a rice cooker and that's just how the older generation does it :3
