Question about the movie DVDs

Hi! How are you? I'm sorry if it's bad or a stupid question, but I need to know...

I can remember, when the movie was released in the theatres, some people who made the review, told there were fragments of Hetalia episodes inside, right?
Few days ago, the RAW link was posted here: http://community.livejournal.com/hetalia/10241708.html and http://community.livejournal.com/hetalia/10214227.html This version doesn't have the episodes inside but has an awesome ending!! (i won't tell for these who didn't watch it yet).
Now, the movie was recently subtitled in Spanish (by Aino Fansub), I watched it, but I noticed there are the episodes inside and the ending is different! isn't that cool as the raw posted here (I also noticed that some scenes are alittle bit modified too)...
All I can think is that there were released two different versions of the movie,,, but I don't know why...

Do you know??

When I saw the RAW posted here, I just thought to myself, "Where's the recycled scenes from the anime? Cause . . I don't see them :I"


I've probably seen one recycled scene out of the five hundred gazillion listed in the Hetalia Wikia.

Maybe they came to their senses and fixed it up before they copied it into the DVDs. 8D

De hecho, la película que usaron es la versión para cines. La que han subido aquí es la del DVD, claro que la versión del cine viene también.

Igualmente, lo único diferente es la trama de cierre y la duración.

Sisi, eso lo sabía (ya que recuerdo que cuando hicieron el review, no bien se estrenó en cines) comentaron lo de los episodios... Pero mi duda era el por qué habrían dos versiones diferentes de la película, hasta me pareció que hay algunas escenas que también fueron modificadas...

The Hetalia Wikia says that the film was "controversial" because of all the recycled footage and the film was only an hour long, which is surprisingly short, so maybe enough people were upset at them that Deen decided to just cut out the recycled material entirely. It was probably put in there just to pad out the length anyway, which is a shame since it would have been nice for the actual plot to be fleshed out a little more instead.

This is a stretch, since it seems like this would be heavily reported on normally, but wasn't some sort of special edition of the film released with a load of bonus material? Maybe the version on the special edition is different from the one on the normal DVD, and one had all the recycled stuff removed. In which case the raw that was posted here before and the one the Spanish subs are on were just taken from different releases of the movie.

Well, the Spanish version was ripped from the original DVD, according to the translators O_o; and I didn't know the controversia about it ^^ It's much clear now... Anyway... The cool ending is not in the "DVD version" used in the spanish version (It's just a similar videoclip).

Well, Hetalia episodes's duration if of 5 minutes XD, 1 hours is quite long actually xDDD.

Yup, that's what I think, a special version O_o

I have the DVD, and it's choosable what version you want to watch from the movie.
Skip play (Only the movie, total 1h 4min) or All play (with the pieces of the episodes, 1h 21 min) It's wierd, and took me time to understand, that you can choose the way you want to watch it.

And about the ending... There's two versions of it ^^" You can choose that too...

The "other ending" is only available in premium edition of the movie

For the version without recycled scenes,it is a feature in the dvd called "skip play". It just plays materials that are first used in the movie.

The 2 different endings are the normal theater one and the premium version of the ending. The song used should be the same...? D:

You can choose the setting yourself,so it can end up having movie with recycled scenes with premium version ending or movie without recycled scenes with normal theater ending and etc.
