So being an IRC whore like I am the thought has crossed my mind to start up a Hetalia channel. Nothing official per se, just a place people can go and talk about stuff in general and APH in particular. I don't want to start it without knowing there will be at least some interest in it. So yeah, Axis Powers Hetalia IRC channel, Y/N?

I'm a frequent IRC user (I hang out on sorcery.net, mostly for private chatting with a friend). I've been using mIRC for 12 years, and the program is both simple and efficient, and allows for private messaging too.

When I'm on I have three to four channels on a couple of different networks at any given time. I've only been using irc for a few years now (x-chat babeh) but it's not hard to use. I think most irc clients have some sort of PM feature, though a lot of networks require our nick to be registered before you can send or receive them.

Once I get enough answers I'll look into networks and stuff like that. Though so far we have rizon (that's what network the 4chan channel is on right?) and ircnet. So we'll see.

I'm a loser who only had mIRC for like four minutes until I noticed it was just a free trial or something so I'd probably be going through Mibbit but whatever, I'M IN. ♥ ♥

Actually, mIRC is a free trial, but it never stops working. It will remind you to register in 30 days but it won't stop working. It's fully functional.

I'm loyal to it because I've been married to the program for 12 years.

I've told you before but you've got my vote. I'm another user of mIRC just cause it's nice and simple and tutorials are easy to follow. It doesn't really depend on what program you use to get on IRC, just server info.
