Information about Tokyopop's "Hetalia Postcard Book"

Remember that postcard book that was listed on Amazon.ca a little while back? Well its up on other sites now, and ComicsInfinity has more information on what it actually is.

And it isn't a fanart collection.

30 pages of Hetalia fun - that you can share! This postcard book will have Hetalia fans squealing with joy. It's packed with memorable scenes from the book as well as adorable key art. Each book will contain a super cute, high-quality postcard and a small book. The postcards are attached to the pages in the small book which includes similar images and some quotes by the character or fun facts about Hetalia. Tear the postcard off at the perforation to give to a fellow Hetalia fan and keep the book for yourself.

Oh...so it can compared with merch like coloring books and stickers and such? Huh. Ya know, I actually like this better than the fanart idea we all had.

I've just learned early in the fandom that "Hetalia" means the same thing as "Merchandising Whore." X'D The sheep CD's proved to me that people like me will buy anything.

Thanks for clearing this up! I might buy it. XD

*ADDS TO AMAZON WISH LIST*

Seeing this just put a smile on my face. Having a little book of art and quotes and facts just seems like a cute little tidbit of a treat. Thanks, Tokyopop~

And thank you, OP, for showing it to everyone! <3

as long as it's Amazon's mistake and not Tokyopop's... *has a volume of Paradise Kiss that was apparently written by Al Yazawa*

I just had to reply to this because I lold so hard reading it. -Really-? You've really got to wonder about Tokyopop's quality control sometimes. Or most of the time.

-am I the only one that imagined a version of PK written by Weird Al just then...-

I had heard of this before and I was wondering what it was! I thought it might have been some sort of artbook, but Hetalia-themed postcards also sounds adorable~

By the way, you can also pre-order it from The Book Depository, which is like Amazon but with free shipping. And everyone loves free shipping, don't they? :D

I still think TP's compilation of the art/their graphics/whatever are kinda ugly, but I'd buy this anyway just 'cause I don't have access to amazon gift cards or paypal or anything that most NORMAL PEOPLE have access to 8I;;;;

*still wishes she had access to imports in local areas sobbu*

I probably wouldn't be able to trade with other hetalia fans though :( I'm like the only one in my area who knows about this or this comm most likely;;

Oh good, I was terrified for a second that this is what happened to the "To Himaruya" postcards

I would buy one but I don't know who I would send letters to that knows of Hetalia. :/

OMG I want 50 of them!
