We had promises of the weather being horrible for the whole weekend, which didn't happen, actually! We had no sun, but also, no rain! No one was expecting the amount of people that went to the gathering, and all I can say is THANK YOU, to everyone who was there to make this day a great day!

The guy from NewPop, the publisher of Hetalia manga in Brazil. He was explaining about how the format will be, and how hard it was to tranlate Japanese to Portuguese in a way it'd make sense. By the way, it'll be released here in December 17th! =D

I found ONE Hetalia cosplayer at the last convention (a Russia one), I don't think that there are many fans around here (such a shame, maybe I should move back to Recife and PARTY HARD with julia400) . To be honest, I was just pretty damn happy to know that I wasn't alone there.

Where did you take those pictures?

Ah~~ I wasn't sure what to think when I heard that NewPop would be responsible for Hetalia, but you're giving me great news! I'm glad they're being so careful about it. Hetalia has everything to be a huuuge success! (COLOR PAGES <3 )

Do you know if it'll available in all capitals around Dec. 17th?

You should come to São Paulo and PARTY HAAAAAARD with us <3 We're a huge group of silly happy people, it's funny XD
And well, last year I went to a con as Canada, with a Hungary, and just a few people knew what it was about. So I think it's just a matter of time, from 15 people present on last year's Hetalia Day, we got 54 this year.

The pictures were taken at Parque da Aclimação.

I was insecure, to say the least. But to see the worry they have to make the fans happy, and how much they like to know what we think, what we do want and don't them to do with the manga left me feeling a lot better about it. When the guy contacted me, saying he wanted to go to Hetalia Day, and that he wanted to make a small Q&A with the fans, it felt awesome. =)

And yes, they said it'll be available everywhere. The oficial release will be at Ressaca Friends, here in São Paulo, but it'll be already distributed everywhere, so you just have to go and grab yours. And tell people to buy it! The more they sell, the more we'll get of merch, and infos, etc... =)

I believe next year the whole country will have meetings! I mean, the manga will probably be a success here! They'll keep the color pages, and will have at least 8 pages of translations notes. Also, they're trying to bring the special booklet with the volume 3. =)

We did! It was an awesome day, I can barely speak today, and i got kind of sick, it always happens whenever overdo myself. So yeah, it means things were crazy! XD
