To all of you out there in Japan: Possible Meet-up?

Are you out there in Japan?
Because I am too. And I know no Hetalia fans except for my middle schoolers. And it's sad. 本当に淋しいんですよ!

I don't know if I'm purposing a Hetalia Day or not...But how do you feel about some random Saizeriya in Tokyo? <- Cheap and semi-Italian
Obviously the best meeting place ever would be Tobu World Square in Nikko but...it's in Nikko }:
I also have no clue if ppl are in Kanto or not.
(;、:)
ヘタリアデイじゃなくてもいいんだけど、「他のファンに会いたい!」という気持ちを持っている方はぜひ返事してください。
We can go karaoke!

こんな変なアメリカ人はどうしてこのような恥ずかしい事を書いているでしょう。

答えは
オタクの友達が非常に少ないからです D;
Kiku would be happy if we got together and channeled the otaku energy....I'm pretty sure.

I have absolutely no clue how to tag this. I apologize for the poor English/Japanese composition.

[identity profile] ravient.livejournal.com 2010-10-17 08:22 am (UTC)(link)

Suck pants, I'm far enough away not to be able to make it, but close enough to go "oh MAN, missing another thing ^_^;;; "

I wish my students knew Hetalia ^_^;;; I have one otaku student, but she's kind of a hikkikomori, so she's hard to get to class. Sooo yeah. boo >_<

Have fun though! Saizeriya is yummy!

[identity profile] triaelf9.livejournal.com 2010-10-16 12:23 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, and then there are levels of Otaku. This poor girl, she really wants to learn English, but she has a hard time getting out of her house T_T Not to mention, we were starting to watch Avatar the last airbender together! >_<

Heheh, Japan is small enough that that seems to happen a lot ^_^

[identity profile] triaelf9.livejournal.com 2010-10-17 04:20 am (UTC)(link)
well, pretty much the same thing that affects all hikkikomori: the pressure of society in Japan, coupled with some level of Agoraphobia. She's interested in studying abroad, and I hear that that fixes some hikkikomori, so I hope she can manage to get out the door enough to get her to that stage ^_^

also, she'll go to the anime in Nagoya on the train, so at least her otaku-ness gets her out too ^_^ She has her ups and downs apparently.

[identity profile] triaelf9.livejournal.com 2010-10-18 12:43 am (UTC)(link)
Ah man, the ijime. Yeah, that's something that really needs fixing in Japanese school ^_^;;; Even so, I kinda wish I got to teach at a real school. sometimes the private things gets a bit lonely.

I'm not sure if it's the Hetalia influence, but I know she really does want to learn English.

OHOHOHO I'd love to join too!

But I am in Kansai! (meccha kakoi, wakarahen and the rest of kansai-ben, yeah yeah)

Going to Tokyo hmm? *checks pockets* I am a poor poor student so...dunno...I'll be over there around December 17 though XDDDDD Sorry, that's my only plan to go closer to you guys.

And if we're discussing ages...here it's little me who is past the quarter of century at least XDDD

I'm afraid I can't make it because I'm in Sapporo.

By the way, have you seen [livejournal.com profile] hetalia_penpals? There are some posts by fangirls/women in Japan. Some of them are looking for the one who can talk about Hetalia and teach English. You're so a nice person for them, aren't you?

Hello everyone! I'm from the Philippines, and obviously a great fan of Hetalia! I was supposed to attend the celebration of Hetalia day here but my flight would be 2 days from now and I will be in Tokyo by Oct. 23 until 25. It was really difficult trying to look for a site which displays the sched in Tokyo, but I really want to go! XDD Though I don't really speak Japanese and I don't know anyone there as well. @A@ Please do tell me if you're pushing through though! I'd really want to go. As Feliciana Vargas. =))

I want to go to a Hetalia meet-up so bad! I`m really close to Nagoya, so getting to Tokyo`s a bit tough for me though. T_T The last time I was there was during Comiket! I`m also saving up to go back to the States for winter break, so I don`t see myself being able to make it until at least January. T_T Booooo. I really want to cosplay Spain again. Maybe we should start a facebook group or something to organize future meet-ups...

(lol, one of my jr. high students had a Hetalia folder and I almost freaked out over it)

[identity profile] karuka-ikashi.livejournal.com 2010-10-25 06:29 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah! I usually find them more in the 4,000-5,000 yen range, though. My trip to and from Comiket cost 8,800 total. Better than taking the train though.

I`m tempted to create a FB group if no one else does. It`d be worth it to meet more people! XD

It was pretty taihen, but I made it work! It was a lot of fun, and I was so happy to get the chance to cosplay again. ^^

[identity profile] karuka-ikashi.livejournal.com 2011-02-26 01:23 pm (UTC)(link)
We need another Hetalia meet-up in Japan! I live in Gifu-ken right now, but I'm thinking of moving to Awaji Island...I hope I won't be too isolated from the Hetalia goods! XD;
