Would anybody in Portland, OR be interested in a Hetalia Day meet up? If somebody wants to help me organize it, that would be great, because I'm not really the party planning type, but right now I'm just gauging interest and I'm open for suggestions for locations and what to do.

It would probably be the 23rd, because I have a thing Sunday afternoon that I cannot get out of, and if I'm planning this, I want to go to it.

I was thinking Waterfront Park or either of the Park Blocks, but since it is Oregon, someplace indoors (even as a backup plan) would be a good idea. I thought about the Central Library for that same reason, but like you said, we'd have to be quiet. I like the art museum, but I'm worried about cost. PSU maybe?

Maybe I'm just overthinking this... But thanks for the suggestions! I'm completely at a loss right now, so everything's helpful.

If it's the 23rd I'm tied-up with a class until 12:30. ^_^; I'd head over afterwards though.

Waterfront park would work...but I agree there should be an indoor back-up plan at least. PSU might work...would they mind though?

There are some cafés and stuff on PSU's campus that people could hang around. There are lots of areas inside to sit around and hang out, but some places people go to to study, so it'd just be a matter of wandering around and finding a place people aren't studying in case things got loud haha. If the weather isn't too bad though, the Park Blocks by PSU would be cool for hanging around, and then there's always the buildings nearby if we need to go inside.

Also I'd totally love to join in the festivities. I don't really cosplay or anything, but I'd love to hang around with everyone. XD
