[scanlation] Italy's Hair

This is just a short single strip I saw translated in the comments of this previous scanlation that I edited and was given permission to post for other fans to enjoy.

Translation by [livejournal.com profile] lecumedesjour_s and edited by me, [livejournal.com profile] konkira

Oh, Ludwig. I'm sure this is part of a larger series of strips but for the life of me I couldn't find it on the official site (SO much Germany/Italy to look through), so 'Italy's Hair' will have to suffice for now as the title. Enjoy!

Thanks for the lovely scanlation!~
Sorry, I'm new here, so can anyone explain to me why there are 2 Italys?

Hi Kittycat!

Romano [named for ROME] is north Italy while Veniciano [named for Venice] is south Italy. During conflicts, specially those involving Germany, north and south italy had diferent views; South Italy allied with Germany while North Italy disagreed and opposed Germans.
If Italy was made into ONE character... well he would have to split personalities or be extremily bipolar [lolz, bipolar italy] so I guess that it was easier to divide italy into two characters.

I hope this helps ^^

D: Pretty sure it's the other way around. Venice is North, Rome is South....
