Hetalia Day in Branson?

I've been checking the directory quite frequently & each time I check I'm more and more discouraged.
I myself am from NorthWest Arkansas however, I figured Branson, Missouri would be an ideal city to hold one of these events; assuming it takes shape because of the excess of events & activities available in the aforementioned town. From the frontier themed theme-park ( Silver Dollar City ) to Lake Cruises, it seemed like the perfect city to unleash our hoard upon - so to speak.


So thus I pose this question - are there any fans lurking about in the state of Arkansas that would be willing to make the trek, or anyone from South-West Missouri who is hiding in the woodwork & would be willing to help me make this dream a reality?

Seriously? Another Hetalia person from NW Arkansas! I thought I was the only one! =D Although I don't know if I have any time to meet up at Branson, but I will go to the A2F convention!

I thought I was the only one too!
I mean - I know two or three who live in Little Rock, but I thought I was the only one lurking in the NorthWest Area of Arkansas ( Fayetteville to be exact )

A2F is cutting it a little close to Thanksgiving this year though - isn't it?
Oh well - I'll probably be attending that & BishieCon in St.Louis the following month. : D

Well the con is November 20-21 and Thanksgiving is the 25th so it's pretty close, but I don't know...but it would be awesome to meet up there if possible! =D

I could make it happen - seeing as I've been given enough time to plan around things. Plus - we have Thanksgiving in Harrison, which isn't a very long drive.

Oh, really? I go to school up @ NWACC. Or at least - I will be this year - I'm transferring to Missouri for my Junior/Senior year after this coming Spring though.

Awesome! I only met around 4 Hetalia Cosplayers at A2F last spring so I'm hoping that there will be more this time since Hetalia's becoming more popular! I might be Greece, Sweden, England, or more possible others, I haven't made up my mind yet XD

And I've heard that NWACC's pretty cool, it's a possibility for me to go there, I'm still thinking about which college I'll go to next year =P

Heh. I don't cosplay - 1) Because I can't sew & 2) I don't like the attention.

It's a very, very nice campus & the teacher's are all amazing. Better than the U of A; in my opinion. I went there freshmen year - it sucked! By the time you're in college I'll only be a year away from graduating with my Business & Creative-Writing degrees. <33

I'm glad to hear that you're at least interested.

As well as getting there - I could drive about three people up there.
However - as I'm not a very trusting person - I'd have to meet said people in person & get to know them about a week or so in person & I don't feel comfortable driving around kids too much younger than me; I've found it sends the wrong message.
