Thank you, my heart just had a lapse by the naming of Brandenburg XD (and Holstein... oh my, Holstein was mentioned as well!).

I'm glad that the States didn't "die" or merge with Germany... I can't describe how happy I am now :) Otherwise I'm sad for those who had the other headcanon... Himaruya-sensei's late statements are a bit confusing.)

Forgotten - he said Hesse was a brother as well. So there's a chance for Baden, Württemberg and the others as well, right? :D

And yaaaay, I just remembered I've written Himaruya-sensei around Christmas (in the "tell me what I should draw you as a present") and I said I wanted to know a bit more about Germany's brothers... maybe my prayer has been heard? :D

Ooh, you tried asking him too? I tried asking Himaruya a question a long while back if Saxony and Bavaria were Germany's brothers or cousins XD

I try to get in a question or something every once in a while, but he does those Q&As so infrequently out of free time that I've come to expect just waiting and seeing for some things (like New Zealand's gender). I wasn't expecting him to mention Hesse or Holstein! I wonder what Schleswig would be to Holstein, or Baden to Wurttemburg in relations...

Though I'd rather not think too hard about what Lower Saxony would be, haha. I get the creepy mental image of someone making a Frankenstein's monster out of Germany's siblings D:. Or then there is Saxony-Anhalt too.

Yeees, I really wonder what the relationship between Baden and Württemberg would be since they... don't like each other XD I think Schleswig and Holstein would live much more relaxed... if you ignore Denmark.

I nearly broke my brain thanks to Lower Saxony. In the end, I think it's not only one state but the three old big ones (Hannover, Brunswick and Oldenburg) who form it. And about Saxony-Anhalt... I like to think Anhalt just got a part of Saxony but still knows, well, part of that isn't me so I have no right to call this state only Anhalt. It doesn't really makes sense but...
