Actually, it's written "groß", with a sharp s-thingie. :D And in that case, shouldn't it be the translation of "to grow", "größer werden", if you want "groß" in there? (...now that's some butchered German. "As the waiting list größer wird". ...wait, shouldn't it be "As the waiting list wird größer"? I can't even speak my own language anymore.) Like, "wachsen" would be easier. "As the waiting list wächst [insert rest of the sentence here]", altough is doesn't really make sense. But whatever. *rambles on*

' 7 ' gyahahaha. it's okay! I insert random German in my English sentences as a habit.

And I saw that if you don't have that weird B thing, you can replace it with "ss".

Oh, I do that, too. It's fun inserting random pieces of random languages in random sentences! 8D I even sometimes do that while talking IRL.

Yeah, the "ss" makes the vowel before it short, while the "ß" makes it long. c: But essentially it's the same thing, just changes the length of the vowels. (If I ever said that to my German teacher, he would probably kill me.) Of course, it does matter in German when you place which one, but whatever.
Even the Japanese seem to have problems with German "ss" and "ß", since in the booklet of Ore-samas CD they spelled "Hass" "Haß". XD (I guess that they thought something like that: "So there's this random German word that I have no idea of what it means, but it's spelled "Hass". So okay. In German, every "ss" is actually a "ß", right? Right? ...Whatever, let's just insert a "ß" in there, Germans like "ß"s." xD)
