Possible Hetalia Day meet up? [Manitoba]
Hey there, I only know one person in Winnipeg that watches Hetalia but I'd love to join in the Hetalia day festivities. But first a little shout out to see who's in.
Date; October 24th, Hetalia Day.
Time; Probably mid day / afternoon.
Location; Winnipeg. Specifics up to vote, see below
Cosplayers and non-cosplayers welcome.
Your choices are;
The downtown area where we can walk to the Legislative Building, the Forks, Portage / City Place, China Town, the Exchange District... ... wear comfortable shoes, ok? Fairly good rain plan since we just walk to whatever's closest.
Otherwise Assiniboine Park has the sculpture garden and zoo, if you haven't been it's cheaper then a movie. However last time I went most things were closed for repairs, and if so we have no good rain plan and would be forced to hide in the zoo restaurant or one of the shelters in the park.
The last option is Lower Fort Garry which is probably a poor idea since it is more expensive and requires driving but with carpooling we could pull it off. I think it closes if it rains though.
If we go downtown it might be difficult to get food on a Sunday so I suggest packing a drink and snack at least. However we have lots of places to check. If people are more comfortable with it we can have a picnic.
Attending;
VileMuse / Holly. Look for the girl in the Russia coat
Location votes;
Downtown 2!
Assiniboine Park 0
Fort Gary 0
