Otakon Ukraine cosplay

H-hi! I'm a little nervous posting on here... it's been like a year and a half since I posted anything!
But I promised a girl I met there that I'd post a few pictures up
dfa;lwkjfw! So embarrassed about this

So I went to Otakon this year, it was my first con and my first time cosplaying and I went as Ukraine




Here's from the huge Hetalia meet up on Saturday
ccmeaka is my adorable Belarus actually it was by chance since I didn't know she was going to dress as her



She's so sweet for being able to put up with me!



I also made that sunflower phone charm specifically for my cosplay
Pretty useful I must say!


Me and haircurl... for some reason I could have sworn there was a fanart with her doing this with Belarus so I... kept doing it



Turkey is one of my favorite characters and Turkey/Ukraine is one of my absolute favorite ships
And I'm so red.... and I'm so sorry random Turkey dude cosplayer!

I don't know but I have it saved on my computer also featuring ccmeaka as CD version Italy

I actually got a lot of hate. e____e (Ooooh I wanted to smack that one Funimation guy >/) Which was really annoying. But I kinda brushed it off and moved on! 8D

Man to be honest I don't associate much with the majority of the fandom which made me confused because Russias were calling me "nee-san" and I was expecting someone to call me "sestra" OTL so I don't know much how fans act

I ran into another Funi guy who just didn't seem to get I was an original American State. He kept saying "country" and I was like "adsadg STATE. S-T-A-T-E. STATE."

....And then I left because Mobtalia was making me very nervous. >>;;

That really sucks but from what I heard from my friend going to that voice actor's panel it seems like not a lot of the Funi people aren't well versed on Hetalia
That and I guess the idea of OCs were strange...

WELL MAYBE WHEN I'M AUSTRIA I'LL GET MORE ATTENTION. (especially when I'm stuffed inside Hungary's dress. trufax is happening) But I'm cosplaying Variants on Austria. Dang it. Curse my variant cosplays! D: *never does default. Ever.*
