Otakon Ukraine cosplay

H-hi! I'm a little nervous posting on here... it's been like a year and a half since I posted anything!
But I promised a girl I met there that I'd post a few pictures up
dfa;lwkjfw! So embarrassed about this

So I went to Otakon this year, it was my first con and my first time cosplaying and I went as Ukraine




Here's from the huge Hetalia meet up on Saturday
ccmeaka is my adorable Belarus actually it was by chance since I didn't know she was going to dress as her



She's so sweet for being able to put up with me!



I also made that sunflower phone charm specifically for my cosplay
Pretty useful I must say!


Me and haircurl... for some reason I could have sworn there was a fanart with her doing this with Belarus so I... kept doing it



Turkey is one of my favorite characters and Turkey/Ukraine is one of my absolute favorite ships
And I'm so red.... and I'm so sorry random Turkey dude cosplayer!

I don't know but I have it saved on my computer also featuring ccmeaka as CD version Italy

Very nice pictures! You make a very good Ukraine! I believe I saw you in passing but never had the chance to take a picture with you, I was Belarus for most of the weekend!

There were a lot of Belaruses hanging around so I probably saw you
I was really embarrassed especially since a mutual friend also cosplayed Turkey but I only saw him briefly at the meet

At the shoot, I was in military Belarus, and I had the Belarus flag through most of it. Unfortunately, my bow was coming off during the group photos and I look quite silly in them x_x

Yeah there were a few good Turkey cosplayers I saw! And don't be embarrassed, it is all good!

Man to be honest I don't associate much with the majority of the fandom which made me confused because Russias were calling me "nee-san" and I was expecting someone to call me "sestra" OTL so I don't know much how fans act

That really sucks but from what I heard from my friend going to that voice actor's panel it seems like not a lot of the Funi people aren't well versed on Hetalia
That and I guess the idea of OCs were strange...
